Alex Karras. Wow he was a man's man on the field. Both surprised and proud to have Ted Karras with this team. Welcome to the Nati. We ask only that you "Pancake People. And have fun being a Cincinnati Bengal.
What a great interview with Dave and Ted. This guy is going to be another great addition to our offensive line. Ted seems like a guy who's hungry for his starting spot and is looking to prove fine week 1. I'm excited that we signed him and welcome to the jungle, Ted. WHO DEY!
He's going to get along with Jonah well as far as they both are technicians that take pride in that aspect of their games. Another great podcast Dave! Excited to see these new guys playing for the Bengals!
Say what ya want but I'm a person that can tell how a person is from how they speak. Listening to him and Collins talk. It feels real genuine, I think they will protect our offense to the best they can. And they line up perfectly with the mindset of Bengal nation. Dammit cam we just skip summer and start the season sheesh. Ima football crackhead at this point. This off season been crazy. Did we demoralize the chiefs....🤣🤣🤣(didnt see that trade coming at all)
I wonder if Karras played East Central High School when he was ay Cathedral High School. I know that Cathedral played East Central in the Semi State after I graduated but I was in the military at that time, and I don't remember the year it was. Cathedral won the game, but it was a very close game and Cathedral went on to win the 4A state championship that year, but I am not sure what year that was, but I think he was still in high school. Cathedral had like 8 kids that weighed between 275 and 300 lbs. and they all could move their feet really well and block and tackle.
Hope you guys got Lombardi in mind. Nothing less means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Yeah, loved Alex Karras in 'Webster " We suffered in the '90's. Franchise MUST move to Des Moines if they fail with the "next Brady ." Don't care if you are a failed Brown spawn. Get it done from the backs of the plebiscite that made YOU Billionaires! Absolutely NO EXCUSE!
Welcome to the Bengals! The Bengals have not had a really good center in many years, we fans are so pleased you are here. Stay healthy and enjoy snapping to the amazing Joey Franchise
As a youngster growing-up in Michigan we were Lions fans. The Lions had a formable pair of defensive tackles named Roger Brown and Alex Karras. (As well as a formable D back named Dick LeBeau). I heard of Alex's brother Ted Karras but didn't know much about him... no internet back then. Alex ended-up stealing the show in George Plimpton's book "Paper Lion", and then the movie, where he demonstrated his acting ability. Alex might be the most famous for knocking-out a horse in "Blazing Saddles". Great to see this Ted carrying on the family football tradition and looking forward to seeing him play as a Bengal. And he looks exactly like his grandfather and grand uncle Alex. Sort of a deja vu all over again for me.
Great interview, Lap! Clearly, the Bengals appear they are positioning themselves very well for the fan base who are now all over the country. Exciting to see the team assemble a squad with excellent chance to go far this season.
Having Ted Karras on our O line makes everyone better. This guy is not only a great center, but one heck of a teacher of the game! Welcome to the Bengals Ted!!
Great job Dave! I have been a Bengals fan since Nippert Stadium. This current team and Mike Brown’s willingness to bring in the right people to give Joe a chance is a dramatic change coming from an organization that historically has refused to do what is necessary to take the Bengals to the next level. I am all in for 2022 season!

I do wonder, wouldn't it be prudent to sign Tretter too so Karras can rotate as need?
No
We have approximately 7 mil left. Gotta save room for draft and stuff so no
I want Haden on the cheap for what we have left.
