      Not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my brother recently :)

    That lacing style is called "heel lock" in running shoes, it not only allows more ankle flexion but also helps keep the heel from moving around as much. I've done it to all my shoes since learning about in in high school, regular shoes, soccer shoes, running shoes, ice and roller hockey skates, etc.

    The laces can be done on shoes also, it helps with walking or running. I picked it up from a friend and do that.

    My late grandfather tied my skates like that 30 yrs ago. I like them to stay super tight. Ihave done it ever since.💯

  • @TheRealJMuzzy
    @TheRealJMuzzy 3 роки тому +1

    Didnt know people laced their skates like that. I tied my shoes and spikes like that back when I ran in high school. Its popular with marathon runners cause it "locks" the shoe to your foot if the laces come undone

    Wow, that's really cool, especially the stick handling drill. Cant imagine that treadmill can make anybody faster though. I never even thought about my stride, I just dug in and boogied.

    • @quasarstone4951
      @quasarstone4951 3 роки тому +1

      I did a camp with this treadmill. Taught me longer strides and power equals more speed. Also the feet-mind connection becomes very strengthened as well

    • @PavelBarber
      @PavelBarber  3 роки тому +1

      When you are more efficient with your body mechanics then you are faster. Treadmills do have the ability to directly address certain inefficiencies, and therefor can definitely make you faster.

    We don't have skating treadmills in Nova Scotia. Max was on one once when we went to Ontario for a camp. I loved the instruction you were given by the operator/coach, very good skating tips. I copied two clips of Max on a tread mill for you to see. ua-cam.com/video/JCs72ElvQ4c/v-deo.html , ua-cam.com/video/sQXsbgLTbZY/v-deo.html I think I'm going to book appointments there next time I go to Toronto. The tread mill Max is on is located near Aurora , some where near McDavid's community, I forget the name, New... something or other. Anyway this was a great video. I like to get a better view of how the coach showed you to tie the skates. If you wouldn't mind shooting a video on that to get a better look, that be terrific. Love your videos. Keep making them.
