Great job. Remind me to try and avoid removing my tank. Its amazing how many nuts and screws were used to assemble these cars.4 plus million of them .Thats a hole bunch of parts.Great video again, and looking forward to the next one.Thank you for your time.D.J.
Dean you aint kidding brother! I am repainting the tank now. It is a beast of a job! Makes the nuts and bolt s seem petty! Thanks for the encouragement. It is much appreciated.
You Sir are a natural at putting together an instructional video! You tackled what we have nightmares about and did it in such a matter of fact manner, you took the extra step to point out different parts by name and showed us how to use "Ford" tools..lol Excellent tutorial videos, I am waiting for number 3. Thank you for taking the time to educate us on a task that most of us run from. Great job!!!
This is very encouraging brother! Thank you kindly. I hope they will help keep more As on the road! To me I have to see something done first before I like to try and do it, so this is for those like me who are afraid to tackle it but need a nudge! Thank you so much! Praise the Lord
Wow, this a good instructional video of the process. I’ll keep this handy for the day that will come sooner or later. I would imagine that most of A’s on the road today needs to have this completed. I’ll be watching the next video. Ken in KY
Thanks for taking the time to video the tank removal. Valuable for anyone doing the work. I hope you show the reinstallation with the correct gaskets/seals etc.
Yes sir! I am a bit bogged down in the refinishing and repainting of the tank right now but have the 3rd video underway! Please subscribe and hit the notification bell so you will see when the next one is up! Thanks brother
Been there done that. 😵💫 The fun part is putting it back. Good luck I think the book said 2 hrs to remove took me most of the day. Same time putting it back with help of one other person. Great Video wish I had it back 2 years ago.
Thank you for sharing this series on removing the tank...very entertaining and informative. So far my tank is not shedding rust or leaking, but it is good to see what is involved in removal should the day come I need to perform a similar task. Best Regards, Cliff
No idea! I will tackle it when I get there. Maybe stick in in the wrench with a little hot glue and push it down in there. With a flashlight peek through until i get the hole line up and start threading! You got me brother! To be continued…
I like your detailed camera work on showing close up the work you are doing. Thanks for your videos.

I am lucky my tank has been good so far, I add Marvel Mystery Oil to my gas which helps prevent tank rust.
That is sweet! I wasn’t so blessed when I bought this car. It was a disaster in the tank. But will use MMO going forward DV
