Perhaps I'm doing it wrong. But I'm not worried about capital appreciation. It can stay flat as far as I'm concerned. I'm using it as a high interest savings to drip back in every month for more shares creating more cash flow 10 years down the road.
There is no wrong. I believe it always comes down to the investor and their goals. Thats why I say it depends on what you wish to do with your capital. I do like to get paid monthly from investments but I also want to see green in the account and growth with the market. I can see how your method can produce a massive stream of income.
Honestly If I invested in any of these. Id ask first how much do I want to make monthly from it. Then when I get there I wouldnt reinvest I would use that income as I see fit. And probably reinvest it elsewhere.

Might get 3 of the yield maxes and then reinvest into whoever announces with the highest yield every month. Might be a dumb strat
