I'm shocked at how people missed the other side of this sketch, they're really laying it on thick - while they are mocking the YT generation for thinking it's awesome while not having any experience or talent, they are throwing all the blame on the system that created them - the parents that support them, the colleges that cost 45K a year to give out non-diplomas and the schools that don't grade them so everyone is a winner. The sketch is great because it critiques all involved.

I was actually thinking the opposite. When it comes to UA-cam channels, there are so many good ones on any subject. I think the good started outweighing the bad. As an artist, I see this ALOT- 'conceptual' artists who make abhorrent trite in the laziest way possible are told they're 'new' and 'exciting', when in fact the work produced contains little meaning and no skill or inherent value. I remember when this aired and I'm noticing two differences. 1) He said $45,000 when I remember him stumbling at that part and ultimately saying $100,000. 2) When he said "I went to a school with no grades", you could barely here him over the audience, and it's clear here that they increased the volume from him at that point.
