I'm not from India but whenever I visit and we go to Jalandhar, I love going to The Chaat House (I'm sorry, I don't know exactly whereabouts in Jalandhar it is) and eating my fill of gol gappeh! I love gol gappeh... I think you should have put The Chaat House on the list (if it's still there!) for international travellers - they make their paani with bottled water and not tap water, so it's safe for foreign tourists. And everyone you should try gol gappeh at least once in their life 😋

For the premium ones as De nuovo, Maya, rangla Punjab, pirates of grill, brewmaster and others the taste remains consistent. For the mediocre ones as moti mehal, leo fort they compromise on quality for number of dishes. But these express vegetarians or 120 rs vegetarian buffets start really well off but slowly they loose their consistency. Most people don't know that the ORIGINAL Lovely sweets is on Hardayal Road Jullundur Cantt .............opp the Cantt sabzi mandi. Back in the 1960s onwards we went there regularly. The Lovely on Nakodar road is no comparison to the original one in cantt. And how come this video does not feature Greens, Moti Mahal, Fox Trot, Kesri, Vimpi's, Vrindavan, Shan e Punjab ( kamal Palace Hotel ) and a whole lot more. Kings Hotel too had a great restaurant.
