The only solo I know of with Kate Pierson in the B-52s. They even got her backup singer to help out. When Cindy came back, the solo went out the door (I don't think they really sing this in concert all that much). But they do sing "Juliet of the Sprits" which ended up being the biggest single on Funplex with Kate and Cindy. Makes sense as Roam peaked at #3 on Cosmic Thing, only equaled by Love Shack on that strong album which had 5 singles chart.
rip my Facebook friend who passed away in 2022 Julee cruise and we won't forget her amazing voice in twins peaks soundtrack. she has been able to remain humble and stands her ground and maintained humility when Cindy was on her leave of absence.. 🙏
This song always gives me chills. I listened to the B-52's a lot on my last kayaking trip in Komodo National Park. I remember sleeping on the beaches under clear dark starry skies listening to this beautiful song.
