I wish the NPC AI was able to jump on turrets. Would make things more exciting and interesting. And units like the Fleet Engineer would make defending more viable, being able to place turrets where they want.

Probably the same explanation to Stormtrooper helmets, having a unique bio-coded HUD that only activates and functions for imperial soldiers.
