- We went on a overnight trip to Jinshanling, suppose to be the less touristy part of The Great Wall Of China, one of the seven wonders of the world. What an incredible place this was.

I watched lots of foreign tourists on UA-cam who visited the great Wall, you're absolutely the most special one, great visions about sunset &sunrise and so much details, and the sure thing is nice bgm fit China vibe.

Very good choice. There are many sections of the Great Wall, each with a different feel. The popular Badaling and Mutianyu are well maintained, lacking a sense of time. Jinshanling is very good, I really like this feeling of incompleteness.
you saw the cool part of the wall. most people don't see the unrestored sections and just visit the crowded tourist sections. how cool is that to be on the great wall with no one else in sight :D

It is also possible to take a train to the Great Wall, although I haven’t done that. Jinshanling is apparently different from Badaling, which I visited more than 50 years ago. As you know, China can do things at an extremely fast pace, but in this case, they would like to show you the actual restoration being done meticulously in line with the requirements for archaeological sites. The uniqueness of this part of the Great Wall is the twists and turns, as shown in your video.
hi, you can get a train From Beijing Nord Railways station to Gubeikou, then i believe from there you can arrange transfer, we done it in reverse on the way back as there were no direct buses to Beijing Beeing a Monday.

I'm from Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is really beautiful. I just passed by here a few times, but I didn't climb this section of the Great Wall. Within the territory of Beijing, there are more than 500 kilometers of the Great Wall.

Hi, if you visit Jinshanling then one ticket gives you 2 entries, we went in the afternoon and visited the wall till sunset, then the next day we used the same ticket for sunrise.
