We asked our Mexican mamás to try and guess if these American restaurants are also available in Mexico! You may not know this, but there are many American fast food restaurants that can also be found in Mexico! But which American restaurants can be found in Mexico? They were quizzed on all sorts of restaurants like Wendy's, Panda Express, Raising Cane's, Denny's, Wienerschnitzel, Arby's, Jack in the Box, Sonic Drive In, Cold Stone Creamery! Hamburgers are big in Mexico. Some of the best burgers I’ve had were on the streets of Mexico, hamburguesas al carbon can’t be beat.👌🏼🍔🇲🇽

wienercschnitzel could work imo. Hot dogs and hamburgers have become a thing in street food besides burger fast food places. chili as we have it in the states would have to be called chile con carne I believe. Other famous hot dogs that I think would cater to their taste would be a chorizo dog, sonoran style and bacon wrapped with street corn(esquites) on it.

The most surprising chain I saw in Panama was Michoacana --- a Mexican Ice Cream franchise that was buried deep in the Allbrook Mall. I just looked them up and they have a location in Dubai and one in Toronto where I currently am. The Toronto location is extremely out of the way in North York so I would have to make a special trip to get out there.

The most surprising chains I saw in Mexico were Cheesecake Factory and Tim Horton Donuts (which is Canada's most famous franchise.) (both in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon).
cheescake factory and tim horton also have locations in mexico city!

I remember going to a "Danny's" in Nuevo Laredo; they had the same color and font on the signage as Denny's and the same kind of food.
There used to be some Cold Stone cremeries in Monterrey and Mexico City in the early 2010s
There are also Wendy's in the food courts of malls in Monterey, Nuevo Leon.

interesting to know people outside USA and besides hispanic people are interested in americanized chinese food being in those other countries mentioned. I had panda express just yesterday and the teriyaki chicken is best reheated in a pan with sauce. Didn't have green onion on hand to further enhance it.

I have been too Monterrey and I did not notice them. Carl's Jr, Church's Chicken, Wendy's, Starbucks, KFC, Tim Hortons, Cheesecake Factory, Burger King, McDonalds, and others --- but not Sonic.

I remember we went to Mexico for a family emergency so we used all our savings to go and barely had enough for the week we stayed. We saw Carls Jr cos we live in Canada and don’t have it here. We were so excited and it was so gross when we tried it 😢

I also don’t get the hype of Raisin Canes, they’re just ok. Totally makes sense they’re not in Mexico cause the chicken is already bomb there.
Not just saying because I worked at chick-fil-a but raising canes did nothing for me the time I tried it. I need to see the popeyes sandwhich still but out of the other fast food chicken I've had thus far mcdonalds makes a close second for spicy with the sauce they have.

wendys are hard to find but panda express only having 23 locations? maybe 23 just in Mexico city. there one is oasis coyoacan, forum buenavista, reforms colon and that's just around me there's like 600 malls in Mexico city and tons of them have panda, denys is something I miss and if IHOP hit hard Im sure denys would too but none in Mexico city, jack in the box miss the jalapeno poppers the curly fries and the sweet potato fries but we stillfind those dishes elsewhere, there are some we have not in the video like popeyes, shake shack, 60s and of course 5 Starbucks in the same block and like 60 in insurgentes street
About Mexicans not liking burgers is a lie alot of Mexicans buy burgers in Mexico

Wendy’s been closing down a lot of restaurants lately. They’re completely gone from Mexico City and the whole south now. Tu only see them in border states nowadays
