Overcoming shyness has been the biggest challenge for me 😪 However, if we work on our confidence and security when speaking English, we will be able to speak fluent.
As for communication skills I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process in English and other languages.😊
I’m from Vietnam and I’m a language learner. Thanks for your valuable shares. I love the way that you show some phrases like “ use it, or lose it” or “you’re the hero of your own adventure” while you’re speaking. Keep it up ❤️
I paused the vid just to give a huge like from me. y'all deserve it. I really appreciate the enormous effort you put into this useful video. It did help, thanks Andrea.
Thank you for this tutorial and your app, before I was so nervous and shy about speaking English but now my confidence is slowly overtaking my nervousness and shyness when having a conversation
RealLife and Learn english with tv series are the best channel to learn english in the most fun and affective way. I improved my English a lot watching these in the lockdown.
Here we go!! Eventually, I've found the right one. To be honest, I was struggling with the same problems as every learner face up with. My words didn't come out when I got to speak. Due to this, I was always upset and becoming scared of communicating with others in English. But thanks to this, I am bound to speak confidently in future. :3 Supporting you guys from Burma! ;)
Actually, I can not even speak English. But some words make sense. I came across this youtube channel by chance. This UA-cam channel is really important for those who are learning English. Your tips are very important. Thank you all.
Many thanks Andrea for those precious tips. They are very useful. I know exactly what you are talking about. Generally speaking I understand the texts I read, the podcasts I listen to and the videos I watch on youtube but to speak with other people it's an another 'whole story ! Up to the present time I don't dare. I can talk to myself alone in front of the mirror but that's all !
@@RealLifeEnglish1 I haven't done it yet. May be I will, at last, get the courage to launch myself into. It's time for me to get rid of this fear. thanks for all.
Hi Andrea I really appreciate for sharing fantastic tips. These are really helpful for me to speak english confidentiality. l have the same problems too.l can understand what natives say.but I can't speak very well. also I really shy to speak english in front of many people. Now l'm not afraid to speak english.Thank a lot from Myanmar 😍
Thanks Andrea. Your advices is really helpful for me. Now I'm trying to make English as a part of my life. No day without English. I hope I could catch those fluency ASAP.
Today you come across a lot of native English teachers on the internet, specially on UA-cam, which is amazing, but as you may have noticed they speak slowly and the words are well-pronounced so you can understand everything, but at the end of day it is frustrating when you realize that life is different, a good piece of advice though is to increase the speed of the video using the "settings", 1.25 makes the speaker's voice speed get close to what it would be normal, with the advantage of listening to well-pronounced words. Take it for granted that it'll work. Keep it up! See ya!
Hi Andrea, thank you for that video. I always believe that asking to others. When I do something ask to others about my work. Because they elaborate my rights and mistakes. I always focus on how to improve my skills and try to deal with how to reduce my mistakes. I'm big fan of your videos. Don't give up us and pleas share much more videos. "Türkiye'den selamlar."

Hello my favorite channel. İ've started the Last year learning English but my english not very good Still. Guys l know l have some grammer mistakes pls forgıve me for that
Can you please make a lot of videos about speaking becz I think for all the learners speaking is the most important skill it's essential for us thanks for your efforts really it works out I used to learn english by chunks but I need to improve my speaking u mentioned three things happen when we speak that's precisely what happens with me I hope I can overcome my fears, shyness and forgetting words these type of videos encourage us to keep practicing english as sometimes I give up becz no progress I can see no improvement in my speaking
Thank you in advance. I found that you guys are the best to giving tips to language learners and I wonder if you can try to make a lesson only about words chunks, may be to use in a particular situation. In podcast or any where else. Thanks again.

Lol alright, I'm French being learning English years back, fluent now and this video pop up in my feed I don't know why, I read the title and smile, telling to myself "I'm beyond that now" haha
That happen to me. I can write, listen and read but it is a frustration to speak English 😭😭 I learnt English from books, in school, with tv, newspapers, english courses but I barely spoke with people 😥 Speaking is what I need the most and it is what I can't do mostly. Hope I can do it someday 😓
hi, thanks for this video. That's exactly my problem. I do everything you have recommended to me, but I still can't speak English clearly and my grammar is better from time to time, but it's still incorrect. I have no person in my position with whom I can use my new abilities. I find a lot of people on the internet that I can write to. When I write or read, I really understand most of the words. But when I can talk, my brain freezes, I forget everything and I don't know what and how to say. I'm not shy, but I'm afraid I won't succeed. When I tried to call one person I was talking to, it was terrible. My voice shook and I spoke like a robot. I know there are many opportunities, but I still don't know which is right for me. So I watch one video at a time and see what I can do. I've watched a lot of teachers on youtube, but you're the best of the best. I learn a lot from you. Well, thank you.
Actually Andrea during Ielts speaking we have to maintain our speaking speed neither too slow or fast. It should be medium. According to guidelines mentioned by Idp pvt Ltd Australia 🇦🇺 and British council.
Well I am not sure about talking with people who are English learners because not everybody speaks clear or and not everybody is going to help you to improve your pronunciation, so I don't get the idea, we can learn the pronunciation of the word or phrase but not always we can produce the right pronunciation
Well, you might feel shy and have this language barrier. Just try to have more speaking practice on your own to gain more confidence - and then you can meet more people to practice together and not get lost and stuck! Don't give up!
My problem is when I speak with myself (yes yes I'm wierd) I can speak good English but whenever I communicate in English with someone else, I keep forgetting words and struggling to speak
