Did you mix up the labels on the videos? The image quality looks much better coming from the MacBook Pro. I recently ordered this webcam, but of the quality is that bad, I will be returning it very soon!

Oh man, am I wrong or the built in webcam looks way better? It has a better mic with no background noise, quite a better image, better colours….. like….. are the titles on those clips correct? Something tells me that the titles are swapped 🤨

Ok so I re-watched the video on a bigger screen, first time I watched the video, I did on an Ipad mini, the second time on a 4k tv, Now I can see way more detail on the Opal C1 for sure, the mic however, it's still way better the one on the MBP, the Opal has a static noise on the background all the time.... even the colors are warmer on the MBP, I know that's personal preference but I rather get warmer colors than the cold ones specially for the skin tones.

I’m not sure how you think the Opal cam is better unless you mislabeled them? Crazy audio hissing and it looked worse.

Audio is very noisy on the C1 compared to the MacBook

3 words elgato facecam pro.!! 4k60 better software..and i think my avermedia 515 is better...im not a fan of mkhb or whatever..u need to do resesrch

PSA: What a horrible camera. I bought this camera a couple weeks ago, such a nightmare to setup and always out of focus. Software doesn't work properly, and support made excuses for where to plug it in. I returned it, I got so tired of it. What a waste of time and money. If you see UA-camrs or IGers talking well about this camera, they're probably cross-advertising, don't fall for it.

I don't get the hype around the Opal C1. Better use your iphone in continuity than this awful rubbish. The materials and construction are god at first glance, but once you plug it in the picture is insanely bad, can't even focus the face properly.
