My wife used to have an old Metro. The choke was almost inoperative and on cold mornings before she went to work she would absolutely torture it! First the constant pumping and then when it did start she revved the balls off it.
Thanks for the comment. Metros can be very temperamental when cold. Especially if you don’t get the choke right. If you want to chat further about the experiences if u wish!

Amazed she started 2nd try, she stalled quite a few times , what a shame she didn’t take longer to actually start, looking forward to seeing you try to do that in October and November 😂, I’m assuming that was after 10 hours ?
