The Sterling Ink washi material does NOT peel up easier, and yes, likely to tear if you try. But, the backing material is clear. I peel off the excess material from the whole sheet, and since it's clear, it makes it easier to figure out placement in my planners before laying down the stickers.
Oh that’s a good tip! Using the clear background. The most I have used the washi paper is for laying down all of the dates in the undated planner and with tweezers and how square they are, they were definitely movable and I occasionally tore them, they mostly moved great with no residue (one of the biggest reasons I love SI stickers.
