Yes you must not go on feelings,right, but on the Word of God and the Bible is ment to be our gold when Yeshua/Jesus is the Word,John 1:1 and Joshua 1:8 shows us not to let the Word depart from your mouth meaning you can speak or sing biblescriptures loud and also directly read or sing from the Bible scriptires! The Bible also tells us to sing a new song and worship is important lifting God up and God wants us to live in worship giving God glory Ps 100:4! About not depend on feelings I think the Word is important! We need to come together as christians in meetings,yes,important and in 1 Cor 14 they had familar meetings where different people shared and 1 Cor 12 tells that we christians need each other like parts in a body with different gifts and Yeshua also pray for love among christians in John 17:21 also meaning fellowship and care to each other not just unity and love in the big Church global! We christians need each other and in Acts they lived in much of a house-congregational way and for instance Priscilla had a congregation in her house. To seek the Lord together is important and where two christians are gathered Yeshua/Jesus is there! God need to be the first priority,he in the center as Matt 6:33 shows in first love and as we see in Song of Solomo about the first love to Yeshua,the heavenly Bridegroom,a relaxed relation not in lawishness,(no slaves as also Rom 8:15 shows) but in Gods grace as christians in passion to Yeshua! He wants our hearts in purity of hearts Matt 5:8 in sanctification and in humbleness,meekness Matt 5,2 Chron 7:14,Isaias 57:15,Luke 6 - a poor spirit- humbleness. About not to go on feelings I think also declarations according to the Word is good also for instance saying: I am more than a conqueror in Christ as we see in Rom 8:37!
About if anyone is in urgency you however need to care if urgent as the parable of the samatarian shows! It does not mean that you will not have meetings as is important! There are for instance pastors who do not care for christians in urgency in traumas but the meeting is more important than seeing the person in a desperate need! Yeshua weeps with them who weep and his heart was moved by compassion and the Bible tells us to carry each other burdens in Gal and to comfort Gods people in Isaias 40:1! The Bible also tells us to weep with them who weep meaning a heart unto tears in pain for anybody in pain in compassion.
Lam 2:19 also shows about tears in pain in prayers for anyone and Jeremia was the weeping prophet with pain in tears! I pray for more of God in Church/Living Temple/Body of Christ global and for more love among christians,for more compassion and for more humbleness!
It is good you speak of not be led by emotions,important,but to reach out in emergency however is needed led by the Holy Spirit.
