Rand U That’s all good when u are rich, a celebrity and can afford to hire a personal trainer, a nutritionist, a personal chef, a babysitter, tons of plastic surgery and body sculpting/shaping & don’t have to work and 8 hour job or 8 plus hours a day- 5 to 6 days a week.
When they asked her to be more nude and she said "more nude? There's a string up my back". Props to her for standing her ground and setting her boundaries, as well as keeping it real with us and showing that in her video.
AdroitAffiliation agreed! And something that really stood out to me in the movie was the fact that she was one of the few strippers in the film that literally never got naked even once and yet she was the showstopper and truly stood out from start to finish. She didn’t NEED to get more naked to kill this role and that’s what I love about her as an actress. That’s how good she is at her craft 🙌🏾

The bruises, the falls and the burns were NEXT. LEVEL!
And just spending a minute on the pole (without touching the ground) was gruelling and exhausting. Serious props to jlo for this kind of dedication and this seriously shows how incredibly fit she is, regardless of age!
What's up with the burn marks on her legs?? 😳 I'm guessing her legs are getting chaffed when her skin slides down the pole? Does that normally happen to all pole dancers or is that only because she's new to it?
I ride horses and get leg chaffing that looks very similar to that if I attempt to ride in shorts (leather saddles against bare legs =very painful sores) So I can't imagine dealing with that every time she pole dances.. Yikes!

If you’re not strong enough to hold yourself you could slide down the pole which causes burning. Or you hold yourself too tightly which causes burning. Or you’re holding too loosely which causes burning

Age has nothing to do with it. Her job needs her body to work to perform well at her job. If your day-to-day does not require your body to be fit, than you will likely not be fit. If you want to be fit and healthy and agile like she is at 50, you have to USE your body and MOVE. Age and fitness do not have anything to do with one another - you can be out of shape at 10 years old or out of shape at 70 years old OR you can make a choice to be healthy and fit at any age (but it's easier to get into shape if you start when you're young/NOW because it's harder to build muscle/maintain tone as you age).

This movie is why I got back into pole dancing! I had tried it in university and fell in love with it, and after seeing Hustlers in 2019 I signed up for pole classes, bought my own pole and haven’t looked back. Almost 4 years later, I’m training regularly and have been running a project called The Empowered Pole Dance Project, where I interview pole dancers to hear about their pole journeys and how their lives have been changed by pole, while at the same time raising awareness about the health benefits of pole dancing. Pole has changed my life for the better, and I have Hustlers and JLo’s amazing performance and dedication to thank for that ❤️❤️❤️
This woman is just so powerfull, so confident and so commited to her work! Such a great inspiration for all the ladies out there.

I admire the discipline this woman put in training (and JLo as well) and doing it everyday...iit is a very demanding activity, but usually majority of these girls have dance background. Besides admiring that hard work, I honestly don't like her body that much, it's too muscular and she has no waist and a masculine midsection due to the fact that pole dancing requires a very strong core and strong arms/shoulders, and also lots of plasticity. Said that, just a personal opinion, this doesn't not deny the fact that she is super skilled, athletic and good at what she does. Regarding JLo let's not forget that she was a dancer so she is used to it ..she works out every day, she has a special lifestyle and it's also very hard working...there are also common women who have great bodies and faces....JLo has more billions for sure :-)

I give you major props! I was in a grocery store in Florida years ago and saw this really fit woman. I stopped her and asked what gym do you go to? She told me she teaches pole dancing. I was shocked! Her arms and abs were so defined! All I thought was "That must me an incredible work out!"

Very True. It took me years to master everything when it came to real pole dancing. I remember coming home with so many bruises and burns the first few months. It keeps you fit. Real pole dancing is not about taking all your clothes off.

Like JLO said, strippers are at the club all the time and have plenty of time to practice when the club is slow or isn’t open yet so the majority of them know what they’re doing on the pole unless they’re new to it

It took me 3 months to learn basics. I was so bruised & sore I could barely walk. Had to take sugar pills to get to bruising down. Its HARD work. It's like working at a gym nonstop for 10 hours a day.

I usually don't watch behind the scenes videos... however, this one was interesting...pole dancing is an art form...one wrong move and "yo ass will be fucked up" kudos to Jennifer for posting this..shows what hard work really goes into it.
As a poler dancer, i give props for her to learn so much in short amount of time. Pole dancing is never something that you can easily be mastered and quickly done, it takes time, strength building, a lot of errors, being awkward, building trust in yourself, point out your toes and a heap load of brusies etcs. And even with the girls & boys that has done pole dancing for years now, they still try to improve themselves and their style. So I appreciate Jennifer to try something that surely mostly people around their 50s would say no to, but to me thats besides the point. To push herself to do actual pole dancing moves than just moving her body side to side (which anyone can do), and pushing to improve her skills as she goes through the 3 mins scene review. Thats love for the pole. I hope JLO continues doing pole dancing after trying it out, its such a boost confidence for oneself.
And she did after the Superbowl, such a happy feelin' that she is still doin' it with joy.

I just started pole dancing for fitness, my gosh, it is a challenge and the pain. Idk how pole dancers and strippers do it, kudos to them. As J.lo said its one of the hardest thing I've done. 😅 I admire her drive and dedication, GET MONEY!
