    A better way to add your jump rings is to twist them to the side. Do not pull apart and you will have a stronger ring that will not warp or come apart.

    At about 4:47, you instruct to separate the branches again, except the lower left bunch, in which you say to cut the one wire. That would result in two strands in that section. The bunch above has three branches. **The next two sections have bunches of four branches. Followed by the last two bunches of three branches. Does that make sense? I don't understand why I need to cut the one strand, and how I should have the other four sections be bunches of three branches. Were those two bunches of four supposed to be separated? Lots of questions. I'm stuck after having disassembling this tree multiple times. Please help me. Thank you.

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  11 місяців тому +2

      Ok, I’ll try to explain. I’m by no means an expert on this, so when I start to make any project, if I find that I have to many, or to few wires, I’ll just try to correct it as I work on the video. I have that many wires because I don’t want the trunk to look skimpy. So if I wanted all the gemstones to look uniform on the ring, I had to cut a wire off. It doesn’t affect the branches at all. I’m so sorry you had to disassemble it. Theres no need for it. Nothing is perfect in the art of wire. I hope this explains it somewhat. I know your project looked beautiful.

      I’ll be creating the new video today, but in the meantime the safest is to have more wire than less. So you should cut the wire to 18 inches. Since you will be doubling it as shown on the first tree of life video. I cut them alittle to short.

    I have 6 inch hoops. How many and how long of wire do you think I need ?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  Місяць тому

      Its better to have the wire longer than shorter. So just double the length and add 5 inches. 6 inch ring x 2 = 12. Add the 5 inches and its 17 inches long. How many, depends on what chips or beads you’re using, and how thick you want your trunk. If all the beads start to crowd, you can cut one from the branch and continue

    How do you determine what length your wire needs to be for each size of ring?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  8 місяців тому +1

      How you determine this is by doubling the length of the wire, and adding at least 5 more inches to compensate the chips added and the ends being twisted around the ring to secure it.
      5 inch ring- 15 inch wire length
      7 inch ring- 19 inch wire length
      10 inch ring- 25 inch wire length

      Wow! That’s going to be beautiful! If your following my video, then for 10 inches, you need to double it to 24 inches of wire. The other 4 is to compensate the wire you’ll be wrapping around the ring when your beads are on. I hope this helps. ☺️👍🏻

    hi i have a 5 inch hoop, how long should my wires be?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  8 місяців тому +1

      Since you’ll be doubling it on your ring, 16 inches each wire. Always better to have too much than too little.

    I’m confused when you say you cut off the 1. And you have 15? Are you cutting off 1 from each bunch??

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  Місяць тому

      No, you have to be your own judge on this stone & wire art. If your stone chips are going to be too crowded at the tree trunk, it’s ok to cut one of the wire’s off of that branch. Best advise, use the smallest chips at the bottom (near the trunk). 👍🏻

    How can you have 3 wires when you twisted 2 4 ‘s in the middle?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  11 місяців тому

      One of the wires will break off occasionally, so you just keep moving forward with what you have left. OR, you can add another wire. I’m sorry for the confusion
