My cousin and I were both born at Scotia hospital in 1956 just days apart, we lived in Rotterville at the time. I’ve visited it many times in my life and always go to the hospital and check in when I visit. I’ve met the nurse who delivered me and been in the delivery room also. Great history in Humboldt County.
My brother was born in the Scotia Hospital. I was born in the Fortuna Hospital. The Scotia Hospital was closed before I was born in 1959. Dr. Munchheimer in attendance of course.

The family moved to eureka CA and later in live oak CA yuck disgusting pewky town of live oak hated it ever since
Eureka is a nice getaway. We love to visit there. Live Oak … well … you do have the Penny Candy Store. :)
