Once u get used to the controls and mechanics this game is actually enjoyable and already playable.
Sure there’s need for updates in the responsiveness and ball movements but same was the case of early Efootball and the recent EA games but we were okay with it, why can’t we do the same?
Imagine the version of the game remains open for play while they work on minor updated versions that they release every month and major updates every year until we finally get a perfect football game?

It's exactly that adjustments to the physics of the game if we complain about being robotic then that's us being used to Fifa we're you essentially control the ball not the player with the ball. 4 quick passes then a pass first time with the back turnt to the player off balanced. People think they can just play another game then Fifa and play the same braindead football
Tbh I tried it and the movement is so goofy 🤣 it feels more like a joke than a functioning game but for a FREE game it’s insane honestly I dont know how they pull it off
I think its ok because you cant just do some random unrealistic shit to fuck over the defender. My biggest Problem is that sometimes the Player wont react to open balls or Passes even though i controll them. Same Problem while defending, but Overall the gameplay is allright once you get used to the movement
they need to make the game more responsive, and polish the animations and player - ball interactions, as well as the ball physics for the shooting, with that the game will become so much better... i see so much potential for it being better than fc already, the graphics are solid, def not as bad as some of these reactionary fc people are saying... a lot of fifa players are just stuck in their ways and can't see the whole picture, also a game with investors means that they can hold off on being net - profitable for at least a few years... which will make it so that they are able to focus on developing gameplay and gameplay adjacent mechanics rather than forcing the game to be a cash cow

The movement already look better than fc 24 already, fc24 is too arcady and too fast when dribbling. this ufl is much more realistic. Too responsive make the game unrealistic. Fifa is more simulator and more realistic fc22,23,24.
I stopped playing Fc in November.

Just from watching I love how the players can move freely, when you get a through ball your not forced to be stuck on the defender while making a run.

It’s on the right track. I hate ultimate team from EA for obvious reasons and it’s confusing for someone like me who is new. But this version of ultimate is simple and kinda fun to get into. Plus the no micro transactions on players. Which I hope they stick too and keep it to cosmetics. This really could be a good game and I hope the gameplay gets better with a lot of lag and ice skating players. But it’s in a ok state for Beta

I think the game looks good with the current graphics. I like the core mechanics of the game but of course it needs some improvement and refining. However it is a beta so they have time to make it a fun game! Also the game mode has potential if they can also add some more stuff

a little bit rigid and "casual-skating-style of EA" player motion, but this's just a beta. Hope they will fix it for the final release (heavier, dense, and smoother motion, etc.)

I would say this game is MID rn but mid literally beats eafc rn🤣. On a serious note tho the biggest issue that I have right now are: Players feeling like they are on ice skates (defenders and when the pass overruns the players), passes going way past the player that it’s intended to go to when you put some power on the pass, overall responsiveness, and you can’t really first time pass because the players always have to take a touch (make first time passing skip the touch animation, but only let it be viable on players with very good passing).
Things I like: I like how I’m not restricted by chemistry in order to make a team work, I like the customization especially how you can individually customize players, I like how you get punished if you press too hard and if you make a bad challenge while defending (unlike tackle spamming in EA), you actually keep the ball when you make a slide tackle or standing tackle, I like that you can actually attack how every you want in this game and aren’t forced to do one thing unlike EAFC, and finally the attacking players actually MOVE and look for space instead of EA’s attacking movement where the player occasionally runs but it’s only in a straight line and most of the time it’s right at a defender😭.
Overall gameplay is MID but it’s FUN to actually play. The potential is there for the devs. Remember that this could be a 2-3 year process since they are building the game from the ground up!

it looks phenomenal, but there is room for improvement, specifically camera angles in celebrations etc.

People need to understand this on their first attempt. They aren't like Konami or EA with decades of experience, funds, and technologies. They need time to develop and improve. First games are placement games and after that you get rp through ranked games. With the bonuses i get 20k-30k each win. I dont remember if it is less or nothing at a loss though
