It is besides the point to suggest iphone XR when we are here to see SE comparision. SE fulfills some requirements that other phones do not. Highly pocketable, light on hamd for hours of use, decent camera, decent battery, very lightweight all bundled in one phone. This makes the SE likely to be used more for essential tasks rather than other iphones like XR, 12, 13 which are most likely to be used as a consuming device like tiktok, facebook, twitter, news etc but less likely as an essential only device like phone, camera.
So you sre telling me apple literally released the same phon but with a different processor?😂 people who saved their money waiting for the NEXT BiG NOTCHLESS SE3 to come out waited for this!!!!
1:30 okay…the SE3 should get better battery life anyway because it has a more power efficient CPU in the A15 Bionic. I don’t see how the SE3 would have a smaller battery than the SE2 though because 5G requires a lot of power, though understandably you do want to keep the costs down (but on the other hand the overall price went up $30).
@@wjc1 that’s the point I was making, although vague. 5G requires a lot of power, which is why Apple increased the size of the battery from the SE2 (1821mAh) to the SE3 (2018mAh), plus you also benefit from a more power-efficient processor in the A15 Bionic.
The SE3 might have a smaller battery because the SE is a cheaper model. To keep it cheap but also good you have to sacrifice some things to be able to improve other things
The SE 3 from what I've seen gets maybe an hour more screen on time. I wouldn't use battery efficiency as a metric for choosing between the two. The only real distinct difference is in the 5G

I've had the SE 2020 since it came out, I love it just because it's pretty small and slim, and still has a button, fingerprint to sign in is way better than face or PINs imo. Might wait til the SE version 4 though to upgrade again.
Jesus is Lord. God bless. He loves and Forgives. God isn't someone who waits for your downfall, but your redemption through His Son Jesus. Repent. This may seem uncalled for but just trust the Lord. Give God a chance, not being religious but have a relationship with God. Call out to Him and try and hear His voice in your heart, He doesn’t go against His Word, the Bible. If you reject it, ay your choice, God gives free will. Just got to say, He has plans to prosper you not to harm you. Again ain't saying be religious, but give God a chance. God bless you.
I freaking hate mine. Probably something wrong with it since I first got it. The reason I hate it is because I gets so hot after only like 5 minutes. And the volume is very very quiet and brightness is messed up. Idk if this only happens with my phone but sometimes the brightness goes down by it self and I cant do anything about it because it is showing that the brightness is already up even tho its not

I like how symmetrical the bezels are.
The iPhone SE has been a great gift for me to give to family members to get them into iOS. It's simple and it just works well. I hope at some point they replicate the old "plus" models and make a 5.5 inch display "iPhone SE Plus".
So you want a BIGGER iPhone SE?? Isn't that the purpose of having an SE?

save up a couple more money and get the 13 mini version, if you can
12 mini doesn’t have good battery life. 13 mini does tho
Definitely update us on the battery life and compare them both also
Battery isn’t going to be too good since it’s about 1821 mAh. Probably last u half a day depending on your usage(about 3-4 hours of screen time per day)
@@alejandrorodriguez6484 yeah, its a disappointment
@Alejandro Rodriguez nobody will speak about battery to say truth because they know that battery is disaster on these devices, both of them to avoid, in my opinion. This days minimum SOT needs to be at least 7 hours, especially on brand like Apple. Not 3 hours.
I really like home button, and screen without notch, size of the phone is perfect, but no thanks.
@@gugi63 yeah that’s y I think the 13 mini is a better choice, size and battery are great( it surpasses the iPhone 12 which has pretty good battery)
I watched a iPhone se 3 tear down video and it’s a 2018 mAH battery
I'd go with SE2 but since SE3 has 5G I'd go with that phone. It'll last much longer. Maybe I'll wait for SE4 so can get the 3rd for cheap. Especially since I heard Apple is getting rid of the home button on SE4 and it's basically an XR, who's design I hate. 🤣😂
New SE3 prices are hiked in Asia.i like SE3 too,
@Man Handler don't like this size. Honestly I don't buy Apple phones for myself. It's for my parents and they love Touch ID and the small form factor.
@@beekarinsaanSame. I've bought almost every iPhone, but it's always for my parents, who always insist on having an iPhone. I don't mind it as it's easy for them to use and they don't end up downloading spam and messing up the phone. Long term, it's a much better choice. I'll never personally leave Android.
@@djhams same here brother, love Androids for myself. Can't stand iPhones but it's much less complicated for older folks and I don't have to worry about them installing malware.
The SE 3 was like 10% faster than the SE 2, but it costs more than twice than the SE 2 in 2023

I don't need a powerhouse or ultra high resolution on a little phone screen. iPhone SE seemed teh way to go. It's not bad for the price, really.
Curious when the iPhone SE 4th Generation will look like when it comes out 🤔
I hope it’s a Mini with updated internals if they’re not sticking with the home button and bezel design. Otherwise I prefer to have the home button
Watching on my iphone 7…
One thing these reviewers neglect to mention is one of the main reasons to buy this phone. It is small and will fit comfortably in your pocket!
All I want is new chipset with Touch ID lol

So you sre telling me apple literally released the same phon but with a different processor?😂 people who saved their money waiting for the NEXT BiG NOTCHLESS SE3 to come out waited for this!!!!
It also has a slightly better battery, a little more RAM, and 5G. Not a huge difference but definitely an improvement
how do you know which generation is which
Better to buy iPhone 12 mini than iPhone SE 3 .......
1:30 okay…the SE3 should get better battery life anyway because it has a more power efficient CPU in the A15 Bionic. I don’t see how the SE3 would have a smaller battery than the SE2 though because 5G requires a lot of power, though understandably you do want to keep the costs down (but on the other hand the overall price went up $30).
error
gen3 has a little more batt

@Mike I have a battery case that I got for my iPhone 6s but also fits the 2020 SE. It increases the weight significantly and makes it less comfortable to hold. The small screen is the biggest con. It doesn't help to be 750p either. Once I went to 6.4" and 6.7" screens with great battery life, I won't ever go back to under 6" screen.
I have an iPhone 5 SE as it's small, and fits in a pocket, purse and evening bag plus I can use it with one hand. It's been acting up (at least 6 yrs old... if not more) so am looking for a small, inexpensive replacement. I don't want/need a HUGE (mini) 2 handed 'computer' that takes up a lot of space. When you travel (frequently), all that extra hardware, chargers, etc just adds to the crap one carries!!
My current phone is 'lagging' (ie: cutting out, cutting off; typing whatever it thinks I actually want; skipping; can't type emails properly), etc. The SE (2022 version) looks to be a good solution for my needs. Would be nice to see the comparisons between a 2016 (?) 5SE and SE, 3rd Gen phone...!

What is your current battery health? 🪫you can check in settings under “battery”. If the remaining battery health is less than 80% or so then that is probably the reason you might be having any performance issues
