Your review only makes me want to play it even more sooner. I'm hoping it has some good music too and I may end up loving it. Like me, it’s old school, and I appreciate these Indie Developers releasing new old school shmup like games. And, by the way, Shmups (like rock’n roll) will never die! Love and Peace to all!
When you talk about oldschool patterns and all, I wonder if you could make a video breaking down new patterns, old patterns, and everything in between. It would be cool to see what is common in CAVE versus Touhou versus oldschool, etc.

Game looks great and by the sounds of it plays even better. A must buy for me. The Toaplan style games seem to be flavour of the month and I'm loving it.
I agree the bullet design/patterns and core mechanics are great. I just wish it was a longer game with more interesting looking enemies. It reminded me of truxton that I played as a kid back on the C64 I think or was it megadrive? The last boss on this game was tough and took me a good few hours to beat it.

Seriouszly ive Heard a Lot of complaints i thought this should BE so SLOW but players say Switch version IS much slower than original? And a Patch IS in "verifing" State ? Do you Know If a Patch coming Out and when maybe? I Check daily but nobupdate ITS unplayble that SLOW?!
I got it on ps5 and the handling of the ship feels weird . It's "slippery" for lack of a better word. I use the dual sense analog stick. Does it have this slipperiness on other platforms/input methods?
Do not buy on switch! The ship actually moves slower than intended according to people whove compared the switch version to the one on ps4. The devs have announced a patch though so id wait and see if that fixes it.

I believe there is already one called genesos or something. It is a dojiun shmup that deals with shmup history at gameplay level.

I just cleared the first loop of this game in 1 credit. I liked it a lot, it's better balanced than Truxton II.

So the training option is just a basic stage select, yeah I 'll throw in the menu footage next time :-)

Last comment.. this game looks like grind stormer / VV which I just found out is basically a bullet hell on the mega drive

Just to remind here as well that the movement issues and nonfunctional dpad in the switch version were patched by eastasiasoft 8th of October
