Amber MX7K first look

Stick this one out till the end.. the juice is definitely worth the squeeze!
This is a bar that was destined for parts, but at the end of the day and the MX projects complete, it deserves some spotlight.

Very nice bar Valkyrie but ... The quality of Code 3 products has declined so much over the last 15 years. The lenses fade badly, the metal rotators were excellent but these plastic rotators get really hot with the halogens bulbs and all of the "chrome" inside the reflector peel off/burn off to the point where the reflectors turn black. Don't get me wrong, C3 made incredible lightbars, our agency used the LP6000 (w Stingray) Canada wide with red-blue-amber, nicest bar ever. I believe a lot of their equipment is made oversea now (PRC). Oh well, nice light anyway (-:

I agree about Code 3 build quality being utter garbage as things progressed. Unfortunately the same can be said about every brand.. Federal and Whelen included.
