The fact the fly could talk suggests it was once human that drank a fly potion.
I think it’s supposed to be referencing the original The Fly from the 50s where a guy ends up with his head on a fly’s body and gets caught in a web saying “help me” in the same way before getting eaten by a spider

It is actually a reference to the 1958 film The Fly in which a very similar circumstance is met with a scientist who turned himself into a human/fly hybrid. He screamed exactly the same before being devoured by a large spider but Disney added the "Too Late." At the end for the kiddies.
@@adriangore850 are we sure it is not the spider saying too late and we overheard a murder? Yzma had a whole lot of concoctions and potions many of which she had not properly tested and she is the only adviser that speaks up, where did the others go, did they suffer the same fate of Kuzco only in different animal forms, it is obvious he forgets those who works for him like the old man in the throne seen and trusted Yzma, so all she would have to do is tell him they went on vacation, and Kuzco would never ask about them again, the fly could of still had hope that someone could help while the spider learned his role in the cycle.

At first I thought that squirrel was from Sleeping Beauty!
WOW, he is very serious about the way he was the emperor while exploring the jungle.
I love the bit where he's surrounded by sleeping panthers and the squirrel shows up and blows up the balloon, but the panthers don't wake up, and then Cusco yells HA! at the top of his lungs and they all wake up.
I bet more than 70% of people chiming in on this video are grown adults reminiscing

Aaaaand 5 months of silence. lol. He probably just made that shit up.
Actually, I heard about this too. Apparently this was added years later when someone was watching the movie, and noticed that the only animals who could speak in the movie were the ones who had been human; Kuzco, the guards and Yzma could speak, but Bucky, the jaguars, other llamas, etc could not. Yet the fly yells out "help me" in english (or ancient inca whatever). So they theorized that maybe Yzma had turned Kuzco's dad into a fly in an attempt to kill him. But their dad actually personally knew one of the writers of the movie, so they called him up and asked if it was canon. He answered "... it is now." I have no idea how to get the source, it was a post on tumblr or something?
