In a society where we stereotype and generalise on a daily basis it seems we only feel comfortable when we know which box to put people. Yet there are so many different races in the world today, so why are they still confined to tick the generalised "Other" box?
Raising some of these issues and stereotypes on stage, using dark comedy, spoken word and dance movement, Rowdy will take us on a hard-hitting journey through the boxes on the invisible form of society.
Rowdy is a London based choreographer, artist and dance teacher with over 17 years experience in hip hop specialising in locking and popping with a passion for hip hop theatre. She has created groups like the all female Flowzaic, Funkamental and co-produced Project Sonrisa, a project for street kids in Colombia. Rowdy is currently a visiting lecturer at East London Uni.
