Morgans were never wrapped in paper rolls ever, anything larger a 50 cent piece always came in a bag, so every single one of those "unwrapped" rolls are a scam!
After the reverse design of the first-year-of-issue 1878 Morgan silver dollar was changed from 8 tail feathers to 7, the eagle's design was also changed to the fuller "convex" or round breast and slanted top arrow feather (SAF) or 3rd Reverse. Only about 2 million of the 1878 Philadelphia Mint coins have this improved reverse design.
Those aren’t real rolls someone put them in that roll .... saw another guy get themfrom eBay get the same coins and he had 1 decent coin and the rest were common
He doesn't think the seller will put a valuable coin in there, he thinks the seller haven't looked at which coins are inside the sealed group of coins who is supposed to be sealed since it left the bank, that's the "story" of the sale at least, like a lot of comments here says, the truth is that most likely the seller is the one who rolled and sealed these coins in the first place after looking there isn't a real valuable one in there obviously.
Wow.did you.get beautiful coins...watching this gave me a flashback memory of going through rolls with my grandpa...God I miss him!...thanks for making me remember...think I'm gonna go to the coin store and see if can afford to buy a Morgan this payday...I sure miss him!...
If you are really a morgan collector, you should be looking at coins for varieties, Proof-like and deep mirror proof like, and also condition. the different between an MS 63 and a MS65 can be huge and is based on the contact marks and friction marks suffered by the coin.
Those are beautiful but they are scams sadly they all have been gone through for key dates and the best condition and the ones that look decent enough to make people believe they are unsearched are put in there
I have a set of Morgans as well, just loose though in a bag. My grandfather passed down a full roll (he rolled them) of Mercury dimes. Good luck hunting the elusive rare coin.
I assumed the same until I watched. Unsearched means the seller has these coins in bulk and sells them in batches without searching for and taking out the rare ones.
eBay coins are scam, all been opened and searched !
Especially the 1s with something that looks good at the end
Agreed. All a scam
Still worth 1200 bucks
@ 1:30 He says 1996 lol 😂 Taras you are one funny dude!
He did it a few times
I think the ones who sell you these always have th eupper hand. They charge what they charge because they know they can get $500 from soome.
Wow! Cool hunt! 😎
coin: 1885
Taras: 1985!
uh wha?
Coin: Am I a joke to you? 😂😂😂
The only truly "unsearched" morgans came in sealed bags from banks. Originally they weren't rolled in paper rolls
And never in $10 rolls
Yep that’s why they have bag marks
These rolls are scams, never buy them!
What even is a roll?
Mel Yo das the paper that the coins are wrapped in. They never made bank wrapped coins like that until the 1930s.
coinz900 but like, why would they never be unrolled till this day, what's the point of rolling them if they were never going to be unrolled?
Mel Yo das they have been unrolled
Why does he keep saying 1900's?
Morgan dollars were never rolled they came in bags
They never rolled morgan dollars like that.
Teach me coin professor
yeah I thought they came in bags from the bank...
Yes they do that is a circulated roll a non circulated role comes in a sealed bag
ohmanyourecool banks never rolled coins until the 1930s.
ohmanyourecool they didn’t have modern coin rollers then. They came in $1,000 bags
These rolls are sealed and manufactured from the very people who sell them.
Since when did crazy Russian hacker start coin roll hunting?
Painful listening to you talk about coins. Great hobby but never forget, "Safty is #1 priority".
Devin yep
Got ripped off my friend. Paid way to much and Morgan’s didn’t come rolled.
You should be Wearing examination gloves before opening coins. finger oils & acid from fingers.
And before performing a prostate exam 💩☝️
And what's the point of pointing that out, to a guy by from the looks of things, doesn't interact/reply to the comments?
You need to get with robfindstreasure together the good stuff!
You need to be wearing cotton gloves before you touch those coins. This prevents PERMANENT fingerprints on collectible coins.
wat
Holding by the edges is fine, most are only concerned if the fields are marred by finger prints.
Topsy Turvy nah he’s holding them by the edges
Only good for bullion anyway. Screw gloves. I scratch all my cions after dealer will sell at collector prices but buy at bullion prices.
@3:50: 1985? I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be 1885.
What I'm saying lol.
8:18 lol 1988
1985 Morgan would be worth millions
It's unlikely that any Morgans in rolls are unsearched; they were originally in bags.
You also need to be careful that you're getting real silver coins because they've been shaken a lot of them from Chinese Importers
Yes check for Chinese junk. Give them the magnet test weigh them measure them. You can Google the specs.
DUDE, YOU GOT A LOT TO LEARN
Wear gloves the oils from your fingers Discolors the coin and leaves fingerprints on them reducing the value
Bruh......since when does crazy Russian hacker coin roll hunt 🤯 🙌🏼
metal detector01 umm that is him
Love the fact that the world loves our Morgan silver dollars.
I didn’t know that either 😂
Bruh
That One Coin Collector yooooo great to see ya here
better off buying cull silver.. was buying stacks of Morgan's at the coin shop for $16 a pop.
Yeah Morgans are 1 coin I can never find at cull spot price.
Morgans were never wrapped in paper rolls ever, anything larger a 50 cent piece always came in a bag, so every single one of those "unwrapped" rolls are a scam!
lol you really think that they sell real unsearched coins on ebay ? xD

I’m still looking for my own me and my dad metal detect but we found. a walking half at the end of last year that’s my next bucket list coin
Those aren’t real rolls someone put them in that roll .... saw another guy get themfrom eBay get the same coins and he had 1 decent coin and the rest were common
common coins that aren't worth what you've paid! Some are pretty but you've been HAD!
Does he really think the seller would put a valuable coin in there?

@@E_y_a_l Yep..."unsearched" 99% of the time means " heavily searched"
I kept thinking my screen froze haha
Silver coins are so interesting
CRH gets ripped off again!
IIRC Morgan's were still available from banks, at face value, in the 1960's.
It’s good when big you tubers do videos like this, so they can show a large amount of people that these are scams. Still beautiful coins, nonetheless!
Morgan silver dollar never came in a roll but a bag.
Wow.did you.get beautiful coins...watching this gave me a flashback memory of going through rolls with my grandpa...God I miss him!...thanks for making me remember...think I'm gonna go to the coin store and see if can afford to buy a Morgan this payday...I sure miss him!...
I hope that you test all those coins. From here they look good but, looks can be deceiving.
Good luck.

You payed way to much wow
You would be better off buy from coin dealers either online or in person. You can buy exactly what you want.
Did you check the mint marks for an o over s or other varieties
Those are beautiful but they are scams sadly they all have been gone through for key dates and the best condition and the ones that look decent enough to make people believe they are unsearched are put in there
New Orleans is o
Morgan’s didn’t come in rolls they came in bank bags
you have a lot of viewers. The least you should do is publicly shame the user that sold those to you
You will never find anything good in rolls. All coins have been searched already!
Anyone else thought when he said 20 million that was how much the coin was worth? Almost pooped my pants.
I really hope you are joking
Depending on the years and if you decided to send them off to get graded could help increase the value of them
Better check them with a magnet find out if they're real silver and way them to make sure they're real Morgan's
K
*Weigh... 😒
They were only searched through 20 times.
What a bust! Definitely a searched roll!
Go to garage sales
Buying ebay rolls like this is a scam, I can get all those coins from my LCS for under 300 all in uncirculated condition
Give it or take it
Rule #1 for collectors...never buy from ebay!!
Very interesting , love this huge coins of silver :-)
1985?
Gotta get a microscope to check the authenticity of these coins. You may have gotten scammed!!!!
I hope you find a double-O mintmark coin. That would be cool.
Lol. I went huh on that 1
I have a set of Morgans as well, just loose though in a bag. My grandfather passed down a full roll (he rolled them) of Mercury dimes. Good luck hunting the elusive rare coin.
buy a redbook!!!!!!
Read books are for beginning collectors the actual price changes every 6 hours making that book obsolete unless you're going to buy four of them a day
Buy a metal detector.
O is new oling d Denver s san Francisco none philldefa
YOU GOT SCAMMED!!!
Or aluminum
As much as ebay coin rolls are scams, you could still probably send these to get graded at ANACS for $10 a coin and get a better return.
Try the US Mint.
You over paid $500
Yay
Spends 500 on 20 bucks nice
Just saying, if they were ACTUALLY uncirculated and had a rare date, they would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Yo
First
Alot of people have rolls like this on Ebay typically they have a good coin as the ender so that people will be interested in buying them
Coppa coming soon
noc

i Think He Means " UN-CIRCULATED ". Who's Here Before he Realizes his mistake & changes the Title.
I assumed the same until I watched. Unsearched means the seller has these coins in bulk and sells them in batches without searching for and taking out the rare ones.
Just the title makes me nervous
I wonder if the guys @ ebay willingly allow these scams for profit. I've called them about these rolls and nothing was ever done.
Can you tell us who you buy from
Good silver coins.
Carson City mint mark is the most valuable
This guy married?
Bet he checked them on troll&toad

Watching this video from IRAQ 🇮🇶
