I love how the difference in frame rate ads to the animation. like you think it’s just gonna be a 4fps (I’m guessing) short but then you see how smooth it is when he goes back into his hiding place and you realize that it’s a deliberate choice. Imitating that feeling where you have to be as still as possible and all your movements are as slow and calculated as possible in hopes of making the least amount of noise
I like the thought that he's either patrolling the house, or telling his step son to go the heck to bed. He knows where the kid is, he even looks in his direction before growling. He knows the kid is afraid, so he stays out of the room, not to mention the keep out sign. He's still step dad, just a little more... Fluffy

Plot twist: Stepdad knew stepson is going to sneak out to a late night party on a school night. So he's patrolling the hallways to make sure he's not going anywhere but to bed.
Its a starved wolf that looks like it's just an inch or 2 bigger than a grown adult male with its hind legs being somewhat average size especially compared to the load it probably just ate it doesnt look too beefy and frankly I think the kid stands taller than it while its on all 4s Honestly the kid could probably take it assuming he's got anything silver that's usable enough as a weapon and probably use it to beat the thing down Now assuming that kid doesn't have anything of the sorts with him hes most likely dead The thing thats interesting to me though is the only thing the wolf has going for it is its immunity to nearly everything and given its shitty size I don't think anyone would suspect it's a werewolf so until someone either decides to be corny and pack some silver rounds or someone finds the closes weapon to them which happens to be made of silver to kill it successfully no one's gonna suspect shit besides just assuming its a normal wolf until they've thrown everything say for the holy hand grenade at the thing and it's still kicking until someone gets the bright yet somewhat comical idea to use silver cause why tf not And it finally works
I did not mean for this to turn into an argument on this video. So I am going to say this to put things right: a werewolf can be any shape or size you want it to be. To tell you the truth,the werewolves from An American Werewolf in London, Twilight and Vampire Diaries are very similar to this one. I am sorry if I opposed my opinion on to others.

Step dad scary, but i personally see this in a no-hostile light. He would definitely be able to tell the kid was there. He's a werewolf, he definitely smell him. But he's not attacking. I can see this in a more wholesome light, like saying he's doing that thing were a dog hears something and goes on guard to look around for any sign of intruder and protecting the owner (or fam) from danger. Or a comedic route like, "Josh, i swear to god, you better not be trying to sneak out of your room to play on the PlayStation instead of sleeping again."

Again, every composition is so good in that, too! Especially having like a branch close to the camera over a scene to add depth. Clever details like that also makes the POV feel so organic and not staged (if that makes sense?) which adds to the immersion of the story. GAH, IT'S SO GOOD. Please keep making cool stuff! :)

@@DWHAAD that's got to be so hard in that aspect ratio, but you really nailed the composition! It's so unsettling. And the lighting? SO GOOD. I just finished the Pines one now! Again, every composition is so good in that, too! Especially having like a branch close to the camera over a scene to add depth. Clever details like that also makes the POV feel so organic and not staged (if that makes sense?) which adds to the immersion of the story. GAH, IT'S SO GOOD. Please keep making cool stuff! :)
