You should try Sulla's paintjob on that AC, just load the npc preset, enter the change paint menu then back out of it discarding changes, now you can edit parts in assembly while it keeps all the customization! You can also re-enter paint and change whatever you want in there but all I recommend doing is adding the weathering 9 effect cuz it will make light metal things you normally can't change the color of on your AC & weapons into a nice clean black like all the boosters & internals on most guns and melee (i.e. the giant spike on pile bunker and lots of bits on laser lance including the big tip)
@@anricig3325 I had to downgrade some parts but I'm running a stinger on it instead. Sometimes I keep the same parts with the stinger and just use a dagger instead of the red wave to save on EN load.
