Hey chef Curtis, as you may notice, Filipinos have a lot of pork dishes. Liempo is pork belly; embutido is a ground pork loaf with carrots, raisins, vienna sausage; pinakbet has sauteed pork and bagoong with eggplant, chinese long beans, bitter melon, okra, kabocha squash. Tapa is fried thin sliced beef marinated in soy sauce, kalamansi, sugar. The vegetable lumpia has ground pork, carrots, cabbage, bean sprouts, sweet potato, celery, sometimes kabocha squash. We eat our food with various sauce, even though they're already seasoned lol. Your friends were teaching you how to eat like a Filipino. Good vlog, thanks!
