I loved at the end when Solo slid his chair over while Sarah was talking. She was obviously exhausted and disappointed. He so gently and touched her hair and pulled a few strands back. Such a loving, comforting gesture. ❤️

Get a peach tree limb. Walk around the property to see if any of the branches go toward the ground. My family has found many underground water and dig deep great wells. That method is used a lot around here.

    WATER DOUSING
    Hi Sarah
A few years ago our Church had the same issue.
An elderly member of our congregation
aged 97 remembered how they found
water on his families land when he was
    a young boy.
There was a local Water Douser
    in his town.
You can often find these skilled
    ‘water finding practitioners ‘
    via the organic permaculture
    community.
I will look to see if I find
    anyone in your area.
    ✨🙏✨

Use a willow branch shaped like a Y. Or peach branch. Hold by the two piece section and if water is around, the straight part of the branch will bend toward the water. Watched my husband do this many times. It works.

We bought property and a home that had a well that regularly ran out of water. The Mennonite school on the property next to us would also run short of water now and then. This went on for years. We finally had a driller come out. Several drilling and days later, he drilled into a new spot that had plentiful water. We were amazed! When we lived in the country we had a 1/3 acre pond that was our water source which went thru an in house filtration system. The pond was also used for our GeoThermal system. (Expensive to install, but worth the monthly heating and cooling savings.) The use of ponds as a water source is very common in our area since there is a lot of sulfur that runs through this area. We were never without water even in times of drought. Also we never had a water bill!

You might want to consider rain collection...tanks that collect rainfall from gutters off the buildings. We use them in Texas a lot. There's a county extension agent in west Texas...in an area that gets 18 inches of annual rainfall...that supplies his house and farm with all the necessary water he needs out of them. I think he has like 5 tanks.

Here nearly every person has water tanks (plastic comp.) and the house gutters are connected to the tanks. With how much snow you guys are able to get and the yearly rain it might be a good option.

"Water witching", "dowsing", "divining". Many say it doesn't work....many believe it works. I had a neighbor use rods to "find water", to drill for my well. He was spot on. My meighbors wells are 250 ft to 400 ft deep. I hit water at 75 foot but drilled to 150 to get 12 gallons per minute. More than enough for me. I would look for a dowser before drilling again...but would definely drill for my own well. Good luck!

Living in rural NS, Canada, if you don't already have them, instal rain barrels on all your downspouts of the house to catch rain water to use for your gardens. It's often more water than you think. Also try to find someone who does water dowsing. It might save you some drilling. :) Good luck!

40 years ago my husband and his dad drilled our first well by jackhammer! We used 2inch pipe and hit water 30 feet down, kept pounding and finally stopped ......we had an old well driller guy giving the guys advice! That well lasted over 30 years and in the middle of a bad winter died. We went with professionals this time.....what an adventure that was in the dead of winter! I will be praying for the Lord's guidance for you. Loved this video....brought back lots of great memories😊

So sorry guys. Coming from a "Water Witching" family, I don't think I'd try again without having a Witcher out to see where to drill. (Some, like my father can even tell how deep your water will be. He's ALWAYS been successful within 10ft) You may find someone to even do it for free. Just a thought for the future though. It's so new to me NOT finding water as I live in a valley at sea level and have never really witnessed that. Obviously my location. If we don't find GOOD water, we just go deeper. Which can be very costly. But those around me vary from 20ft to artesian wells at over 500. But we always hit water. Im so sorry you guys didn't hit good water. What a disappointment for you all. But hey!! There's always next time! And BONUS.... YOU STILL HAVE YOUR RURAL WATER SOURCE!!
Thanks for the very educational video today!!

I doubt it would cost much to have someone do it. You could do it yourselves just have to have the right wood and it has to be shaped in a Y formation. Sending prayers you need that water!!!!

I live in California so I feel your pain about water. I have 4 wells on my property. The first on was 190 feet but we had to abandon it once it went dry 2 years ago. The second and third well are agricultural wells and are 350 and 375 feet. Those are used to irritate crops and water animals. The fourth well is a domestic well and provides water to my home. We dug it 2 years ago after the first one went dry and we went down 500 feet. We found water at 390 feet but went to 500 so that we didn’t have to dig again for awhile. It cost us $30,000. Thank God we had lots of rain this year so that our aquifer’s have a chance to recharge. Good luck to you in your search for water. I will be praying for you.

We are so lucky here in Arkansas that so many of us have spring fed wells! Praying for y’all going forward if you decide to try again!

Hi Sarah, such a familiar prayer to me. I lived on a farm in the Australian bush and we had no town water. We had large water tanks to catch the rain (when we had rain, which was not often), from house roof and shearing shed roof. We had a dam like you which pumped up water for the toilets and southern cross windmills pumping from underground. Salinity was our problem with groundwater as it wrecked the heating system in the house so we used only rainwater and bought in large, expensive tankers of town water every two weeks. You start making lot of house rules regarding water when you know how precious it is and even now, I live in rainy Yorkshire England, I still don’t run the water whilst brushing my teeth and keep to a three minute shower. I only run full wash loads and don’t have a dishwasher. Praying you’ll solve the water problem! Xxxxxx

Great lesson with the well drilling. So sorry you didn't get water. We had well water once, and it was the best drinking water! The ducks are so pretty. You have a precious family!
