I used to take out so much anger with this song. I was 19 and my first love cheated on me with a friend of my older brother. At my job, I worked my ass off for $8.00/hr, trying to get a .10 raise but never got it. On top of that gas was almost $5/gallon and drained my small earnings. I remember screaming in my car "HOW LONG UNTIL THE TABLES TURN! WHEN WILL WE ALL, GET WHAT WE DESERVE..." Over the next 7 years I kept treating girls with respect and working my ass off with no results. Finally a new beginning started. I met a girl and tried a new field of work. 3 years of courtship and grinding in this new industry and the tables begin to turn. I married my sweet wife and have earned about 3x in raises from my starting pay. All in all, this song will always have a place in my heart and remind me of where I once was. This song is so perfect like start to finish. It's more of like a ballad because it starts out with a very haunting riff that almost makes you think it's going to go into something a little softer and then it turns into just a very like upbeat sound despite the lyrics being a little threatening and then and then crescendo where it does the breakdown they have this glorious head banging beat along with like the humorous little symbol prick and then the very end with that beautiful guitar and the softer singing. Whoever wrote this or whoever got together to create this hats off because this is sincerely like still one of my favorite songs after all of the other music I have discovered since I heard this I still always go back to this album.
