I think Dhara could have asked more relevant or interesting questions other than hampering on Politicians taking offense. You could ask questions like why is it that politicians make the best jokes or are easy targets of your jokes ? Or what issues do you want to talk about through Satire is there a specific subject you are trying to unpack? these guys in as much they are comedians they are very intelligent people and well researched you could learn a lot from them. I like Dhara but here I think the opportunity was wasted.

I would not agree that this is an opportunity wasted, one interview cannot and will not cover everything, content is dynamic, we can have more and more interviews, when you draw up your interview you have areas that you want to explore, some of the issues you have mentioned there were actually covered, maybe there is need to listen again, probably you were not fully attentive throughout, we have a habit of multi tasking and miss on the lining of the interview ... It was handled well, there are certain insights in the life of kandoro that have been highlighted, to add to what he says in some of his shows ... This is an opportunity well utilized and gives a platform to the next interviewer who could be you, to do another one and explore other areas ...

Being able to come up with a joke and study social circumstances and comment on them whilst keeping the audience captivated is not a small thing. Comedians and many creative people are very intelligent and are actually critical thinkers. We have been lied to by the educational system that it should be about academia only.

To this day the Americans have not managed to get him extradited from an alley nation because of due process. Comedians in the USA, U.K. & other much freer countries including South Africa operate with no fear of the state & can say jokes even which some might consider off colour. Everyone is free game, their citizens do not have to look over their shoulder for expressing political opinions which are critical of those in charge.
Excellent conversation. I however feel like Dhara could have asked more interesting things. He asked the same question one too many times. Kandoro is the smartest there is in this trade
In a way the same question actually provoked different responses which is why dhara was giving different angles to the same question to go in depth on the chosen topics, one interview is never sufficient to cover everything ... Remember king kandoro talked about being intentional, for the topics that were intended I think they were well covered, tosiira mamwe ma interviews / interviewer kuti vabate pasarira ...
