Let's be honest here, you have officers that are still "tea cupping" their weapons....you should concentrate way more on the basics than doing something that you are less likely to see. If you ever encounter a vehicle ambush then knowing the proper way to shoot your pistol will go a lot further than just shooting to shoot...not to mention one dude dropped his damn mag as well. Your dudes are also crowding the vehicle, bullets can bounce and follow metal on cars...crowding is never a good idea, just like with interior walls.
The push bumper training is done when the officers come back to the department after the academy. We could certainly do one on the push bumper by itself.
Just a few ideas here... when seated, first unbuckle seatbelt, it's easier with free hands and then take pistol and shoot. when getting out, one remains seated with the weapon in direction of the threat, the second one go to the protection (if front side attack then go behind the car's trunk.) when the second has a shooting line he says he's ready, and then the first one exit the car (lowpro) and go next to the other one. when in protection don't forget the 360 scan (maybe other bad guys there, or maybe a bad guy moving) and to contact dispatching. just my2cents
Why not teach them to exit the vehicle as soon as it comes to a stop or to stay outside of the vehicle while a stop is in progress? By staying inside the vehicle for longer than absolutely necessary, you are teaching the officers to give up their mobility while perpetuating a fantasy. By the time that the threat was identified by the instructor, the fastest draw took approximately 2.75 seconds. Assuming that the presentation of a weapon is threat, a standard up drill takes about 1.00 seconds. If the splits are 0.25 seconds (easy), the threat has shot eight times before any officer fires a single shot. It will get your officers killed on the streets. Wishing you all the best. Hopefully, you will get away from the standard vehicle CQB found on social media.
There are many reasons why the training was conducted the way it was. Unfortunately, there are too many points to make to do it on here and you are certainly entitled to your own opinion. We will say though, Not all the training is depicted in the video. Thanks
BPD teaching their officers that the public is the enemy. They are merely playing expensive games with our tax dollars. They aren't training-- they are playing.
Your completely wrong I’ve seen situations where this comes in handy for protecting not only the officers but the public from people with guns that want to do harm it teaches officers how to respect guns and use them correctly and responsibly
I see your point to some extent, but cannot agree with you in general. I am not a LEO but I do train and this type of training is not playing. Sooner rather than later our country will be more like Brazil or South Africa and there simply will not be enough cops to maintain safety and it will be up to the individual to identify and react to situations.
Nice to see Centrifuge Training continues to reach departments all across the country.
It sure is!
Great video! Love to see what kinda training our officers go through.
Thank you sir. We believe it’s good for our citizens to know how well and prepared our officers are in order to keep them and the public safe.
Love this channel!

Could you make a video about push bumper training in academy ?

It would be way better if it had sound??? Wtf I can't hear it at all. Nothing😢😢

How so? Please do explain.
