If you want to delve more into KPop, I think start with 1st gens like Brown Eyed Girls, BoA, Lee Hyori, Sechskies, H.O.T and G.O.D. You'll find out how different their sound from 2nd gen especially BIGBANG. I'm not bragging but BIGBANG, especially G-Dragon, brought about a lot of revolution to KPop. You can also listen to KRock. CNBLUE's music is good. Another one is F.T. Island. You could also listen to solo artists like IU or Lee Ji Eun. I call her Ms Pitch Perfect.
