bore sighting camera is interesting - good thing to see where you're getting it right and wrong. Never had this technology when I used to shoot, and also the guns back then were almost all S/S barrels, but nowadays it wouldn't be too difficult to attach one. Shooting action then was mainly swinging through the birds and most good shots that I knew shot that way. I didn't see on your video that you were swinging through the birds.
The only time we used to depart from the swing through method was on english partridge. They were fairly common in 1990s, but declined considerably from circa 2000 onwards, and we stopped shooting them. The difference with the english partridge was that in shooting them the drives had the guns in fairly close to the hedge, say 30 yards. When the covey came over the hedge and saw the guns, the whole covey of upto 30 or so birds would flare up and to the side making it difficult to swing through as the bird's path is now curving. To shoot these english partridge you had to snap shoot them and put your gun up to immediately fire as soon as the gun landed in your shoulder. The aim point of the snap shot was where the gun expected the partridge to be on its curved path in time for the shot to get there.
The best shot I ever saw was a guy who was a guest on our shoot and would turn up a couple of time each season. He shot quite a lot of two birds for one shot - I'd see his gun go off, single shot and two birds would come down. He never fired his other barrel despite birds still in range. I did ask him about this and he told me that he was looking for two birds in a covey that would converge, and he'd fire for that spot and get two birds in the one shot. I did give that a go, but did not have the skills to actually make it worthwhile. After all, a good bag is good for the table...
    happy shooting!

I have come from doing a lot of clay shooting when I was younger and always tend to shoot a pull away or maintained lead as it’s just something that I’ve just always found worked. I do use swing through on some faster targets when I’m clay shooting but for game shooting I like to shoot pull away 👍
