Like the Ubisoft game in the Ac series, players move through terrain like rock walls (the splinter cell is particularly plucked up and piped up), to be precise with no park hour system, it feels more like an MGS or Ghost Recon series than a sprinter cell. And curiously, when he assassinates the takedown with a knife, the execution motion is similar to Ghost reckon breakpoint when plyer sets it with a knife, not a carambit.
Yes, I agree with you. It does bear some similarities to Ghost Recon. I think the developers are trying to take the best from these games and realize it in the best way in their game. And as we can see already in those demos, they do it very well.
the game looks like it's developing nicely. for the time being, just some observations that the dev team may already be working on: 1) the animations especially the auto stealth kills look identical to ghost recon breakpoint ones. which is not a bad thing because i thought those animations were great, just maybe more variety or slight differences will be better. 2) the footstep mechanic needs some variation. right now it's just machine gunning all the player's footsteps sound the same and at the same volume. maybe when the player is walking through different surfaces the sound can be different and they also do not have to be so loud. 3) the machine gunning effect is also apparent in the rifle shooting. maybe you can have different sounds as the bullets hit different surfaces. in the gunplay segment the sound effect for when you hit a target and when you miss a target are all exactly the same now. 4) the ai may also need some tweaking. right now the enemy takes quite a long time before reacting like trained military personnel (e.g. they just stand there stunned as the player charges towards them to close the gap for an animated takedown kill). they should start shooting earlier. if the gameplay and animations go on the same good trajectory, all that's left now is a great plot and none of the recent dei-for-dei's-sake writing and character placement and development should make it a homerun hitter. there are lots of third-person (tactical) (stealth) shooter fans out there still waiting for the next ghost recon, division, metal gear and splinter cell game to come out who were bummed out by the day before (scam).
MGS wasn't just built on game-play and graphics alone, it has an in depth story-line with people till this day still discovering hidden secrets. IMO, don't compare yourself to any existing game... allow the consumer to make these comparisons and determinations. While the game looks good, there is nothing connecting the viewer to the main character. Based on what we have seen here, I would compare this game to Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Division 2 as next gen sequels (This isn't a bad thing, keep the good work coming).
Yes, you're right. But then again, we don't know anything about the plot yet. Something tells me that the developers want to make the plot more similar to what we saw in MGS. And gameplay just take all the best from such games as MGS, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon and realize it in the best way in one game😉
@LugovoisesGames Are you with the development team? I was under the impression you might have been. If there's one thing I see for sure... modders will make MGS, Splinter Cell, and John Wich skins within 1-2 weeks after launch. If you're with the team, I highly recommend a stealth coop campaign.
Thanks man, you're an amazing content creator for my favorite type of games... open world, stealth/sniping, 3rd person. GR series still my favorite, but this is looking very interesting and somewhat similar. Hopefully its release date is not too far into the future.

A possible way for clip changing would be swiping down and up the Touchpad. 👍 I'd also love to see the ebemies acting real. Like if one get wounded and down, others come to secure and check if he's alive or dead and maybe pulling him out of shooting line to reanimate. That would give the game aome realistic touch and feeling. And also makes it more difficult for the player himself to start a gunfight because you know what will happen afterwards and I mean this is the worst case for a atealth game.
As we can see from those new gameplay demos, stealth is given a huge amount of attention here. So I'm sure it's mechanics and AI level will get better every time.

The main story of the game will take place in the city of Seoul, which will be exactly 1:1 shown in the game. So I guess the game won't have a desert or suburban environment like Metal Gear solid. There is no information about the plot yet. As for the shooting and movement in the game - I think we can already see that it will be done at the highest level, which pleases me already at the stage of those demos. I think that in the future all these features will only improve.
The sound effects are extremely annoying. The breathing, while I appreciate what they're doing with it, needs to be tuned way down or just go. No human body makes all that noise when stabbed or slashed. It should sound more subdued like a knife drawn across leather.
@@LugovoisesGames MGSV is one of the GOATS in my opinion, especially with mods. I'm sure you can do something special with this game, and of course, the next game.
Looks like it’d be an awesome online game with a lot of environmental mechanics such as traps, lights to be broken and a lot of dark rooms to hide in. With a time limit of course and maybe some fire and gas with an exfil? 😂 one can only wish.
@ the distance the character is to get the assassination prompt seems a bit to far from main character to initiate and in cover the characters head is very exposed and the AI visual seems a little dumbed that they do not notice you
It's still not a full-fledged version. The game is still in development, but the developers are already showing diaries with new mechanics and gameplay features. I'm in touch with the developers, so I'll be sure to keep you updated on the game's release date😉
I agree. Two years ago when the first trailer came out I was afraid it was going to be a one day game, but now it's obvious that these guys are really working on the game and trying to make it at its best. I think it will be good and we will get a new decent shooter.
Stealth kills need to be more interactive based on certain levels. Enemies should be able to catch you off guard by countering your attacks. Implement a hand to hand fighting mechanic of sorts. And even some light gunplay to keeps thing interesting. Something for boss fights. I mean this looks cool and improved but he just going around shooting and stealth killing. That's it? Edit: I have some more. Because I think that's why games to me have been boring for the last 10-15yrs. Nothing has innovated. Gameplay/mechanics wise. Press one button. This happens..Press another button, that happens... Like just think about it. Even the basic act of reloading can be a little more immersive. If you're carrying two types of rounds, why not press/hold a button to reload; then another button to load the desired clip. Or another button for a different mag. You can literally have buttons to switch to different modes of play. One switch and your in cqc(and then you literally have a whole controller of buttons for cqc) and another mode entirely for being a badass gunsmith. Having different button inputs for things such as primary or secondary weapons too. And being able to seamlessly switch between these modes and create small combos? Imagine the learning curve. Imagine being the badass because you've put in so much time into learning the game. Shit like invent a new controller if you have to. And during the game, you earn different perks that allow your combat to be swift and more accurate. That's what I need from a game. Only certain games have made me feel that christmas morning feeling. Gotta bunch of more ideas. I wish I knew how to code
Maybe stop being such a critic and look more into this game first lol. So much negativity, and there are plenty of games just based around stealth. You sound like you get paid to leave negative comments man.

in all honesty I saw nothing metal gear about this, however it is definitely very splinter cell great job.
