I'll take any SPN spin-off
Even "Bloodlines"? That was the first imbedded pilot that didn't go over very well with fans. It was just too much thrown at us too fast with all the monster families ruling Chicago. When I re-watch the series, that's the only episode I don't watch.
I was hoping they would go through and make it.
Never say never but now that Supernatural wrapping up, who knows!?

I'm actually kinda glad the spinoff didn't get picked up at the time. Now listen, before the hate starts, I DO want to see it actually get picked up in the future. But, and this is my opinion, I don't think it would have done very well while the guy's show is still on. Now that the show is ending, give it a year or two and I would put money down that the idea will be discussed again, and then the chances of it actually happening would be better. I'm a firm believer that things, good or bad, happen for a reason, and Briana validated that idea by saying if the show would have gotten picked up, then she and Kim couldn't get their podcast off the ground. So, would I like, and watch, the spinoff? Of course! Do I think it will eventually get made? Probably.
I dunno... Looking at other spin-off shows on the CW, they tend to get aired right before or after the "mother" show and do well because they get that show's audience. A few of them didn't last much longer once the mother show ended.
Yeah I think a good portion of SPN fans would watch it just because it's tied to the SPN universe, plus it has characters we already know and love (unlike Bloodlines). I also think that it prob would be very mixed in reviews bc while fans would either love it or hate it, there's no doubt it would constantly be compared to SPN. Anyways, I really would like to see it picked up in the future ;D

I would have loved for a wayward sisters to have gone ahead with the original pilot. I think that the cast they had put together for it was tremendous and could have finally been the women-led success the the CW keeps getting shy of. Having Claire Novak (Kathryn Newton) still in play could really have enabled more of those interesting explorations of human responsibility for Cas. Not to mention weekly fun of Jody and Donna trying to keep a houseful of young women in line. Maybe Kaya would have come back?
The CW cancellation line up for fall 2022 is glaringly targeted to women-led shows. As fun as the new fall 2022 alum-produced/starring shows might be, I feel very disappointed in the network.
it's a shame they didn't green-lit the show the most fans actually wanted. A Rufus and Bobby spin-off 20-30'ish years in the past when they wore teaming up and hunting (you could even start the show off with Rufus doing a case where he tracks down a monster who just happened to be the one that killed Bobbies wife and got him in to hunting.
who wouldn't wanted to watch a spin off with Rufus and Bobby in a 80's themed setting where they are "Saving people and hunting things"
I think THAT is a GREAT idea!! I would definitely watch EVERY episode of that show. Good call!!!
I'm literally gonna write something for this now and market it lol because we all know the writers for the show wouldn't be able to do it justice

I have zero interest in a Rufus & Bobby spin-off. I've never even heard anyone else say they would like to see that.
Thankyou for another great video. I would of loved a Wayward Sisters series. I love these girls and as Kim said there are not enough 30 ish women who have their own shows.

Last year it was so close there was a #savewaywardsisters trending on Twitter. They tortured us to the very last second and said it was a no go.

I miss Jodi and Donna, and the girls. I think that they have a good chance of carrying a show on their own, based on the one episode of SPN where the women took the lead. I'd watch it. I've watched Kim's work before SPN, I like her. Bri is new to me, but she's become a favorite. Why not? Add Ruth? Oh hell, yeah. Even bring Samantha in for cameos. I'd LOVE if Charlie could do some too.
😅 I recognized her as Zack and Cody's mom. So hard to believe kick-ass Jody used to be a Disney mom!

There's a lot of characters still left like Garth, Jo the angel faith healer, the twins, and still plenty of monsters this show can take off in so many ways... CW this will be really great and awesome hit I think it would last 10 yrs at the least just give it a chance

i feel dumb askin this but who are the two guys at around the 5:30 mark with her (the actress who plays Donna)
The guy in the grey hat is Jason manns,he's a musician and a close friend of Jensen and Jared.
Im not sure who the other one is though🙂

I don't know the exact year, but the convention is Jus in Bello (Rome, Italy). The guy with the grey t-shirt is Jason Manns, musician and close friend of Jensen (they sing a lot together, check it on YT. They have some song in a cover album for Christmas). And he is a regular host of SPN conventions along with Rich and Rob. The guy on the stall wearing a green t-shirt is Sasha Roiz from the TV series GRIMM (HIGHLY recommended if you wanna some supernatural series). Another lead actor from this series, David Giuntoli, was a regular guest at Jus in Bello conventions. And GRIMM was created by the great David Greenwalt from Buffy and Angel so he knows a lot about supernatural stuff. Seriously, give it a try, GRIMM is very well written. Cheers from Italy.
@@tabata68 I watched Grimm from the very first episode to the last! I still miss it, though to me, the last season wasn't very good. Anyway, I've seen many videos of Sasha and Misha together for panels and never understood why. Thanks for explaining that for me!

Have you ever seen Jensen and Jared talk about auditions? It just doesn't work out and we have to move on. The management, did not say by chance said SPN would will no spin-off? Kim, Briana have information that yes, will spin-off?
