Minimum wages in Nigeria should be paid by the hour. 14,000 or 15,000 naira per hour.

Both sides need to be reasonable. The increase is overdue but it needs to be implemented with sense and not emotion.
Minimum wage is supposed to be what the lowest job cadre like cleaners and messenger would earn. It is never meant to be a comfortable amount due to the qualifications required.
It also means the management cadre staff would be earning even well above this minimum wage.
The civil service is also very huge and that also has to be put into consideration when deciding on what to pay.
There are also many other issues that are connected to this but which many will avoid. Is the service efficient? Is it overbloated and needs trimming down? Is government ready to purge the service of its corruption so it actually serves people? How does this impact the private sector especially SMEs if it ends up that a cleaner in the ministry is earning more than a master degree holder in the private sector? Would this trigger a chain reaction leading to more inflation and economic pressure and end up where we started?

Put the people are throwing trash in gutters and canal.
Nima, I went to your area but it is shameful that people cannot be bothered The area orile mile 2 alaba international etc were so dirty.
We are Nigeria yet we treat Nigeria as trash, treating ourselves as trashes. The hygiene must be addressed through the media
