What an amazing gift these two are!!! I have followed their careers through the years and my oh my, we are so fortunate to have them both with us and showing us how to enjoy life! Lily has been my hero since I was a little girl (I’m now 65.) Thank you for the laughs and your serious commitment to a better, healthier world. 🙏🏽❤️💕
I’m screaming!!! I just adore Lily and Jane and Dolly, I feel like I grew up with them. “9 to 5” was a huge for me as a young girl because it hit hard on the professional world of women in the workforce . Now to see Lily and Jane in “Grace and Frankie” and to see how to age gracefully and deal with life on your own terms. I’m super excited to see the finale. The universe is smiling on their faces…
Grace and Frankie really did get me through a big heartbreak. The show changed my life entirely. So sad to see it go, but it's time these ladies enjoy the next chapter of their lives! ❤
Words cannot express how much I adore this beloved duo. They are gorgeous human beings. And Lily's smile could light up the galaxy- not caring anymore has served her very well! 😂❤
I’ve binged the first 6 seasons of Grace & Frankie last year when I was in quarantine & I loved it right away. So funny & I love their friendship both on & off screen. ❤️ I’m sad the show is ending, but glad it gets a proper ending & is going out while it’s still good!❤️🙏🏻
Fonda is long overdue for a Kennedy center honor this year. Aside from her Vietnam activism past (soldiers still hate her for it), she made significant contributions to the culture by breathing life into timeless performances in the 60s, 70s, 80s and even the new millennium. FYI, the president doesn’t choose the honorees every year, the executive committee of the center’s board of trustees do. She would make history as the first child of a previous Kennedy Center Honoree, her late Father Henry Fonda, to receive one as well. Despite having a legendary actor for a father, she still managed to stand tall, elegant, step and also be successful and have longevity in this cutthroat business and influence actresses who came after her.
I totally agree, but I am afraid her Vietnam activism is the one item that stands in her way. Considering almost every youtube video posted on her has some one commenting on that part of her life highlights that it is still problematic with a certain generation. She should have been long ago, but I don't think it will happen. Woody Allen and Liza Minnelli are in a similar boat with controversy.
@@allendever949 Joan baez was anti Vietnam activism and went through the similar thing but she eventually got her Kennedy center honor. Besides Jane got her afi life achievement award and Cecil b demille award in spite of her Vietnam past
@@zackwilliams9912 that's Hollywood, not Washington DC. Bob Dylan got a Kennedy Center too but none of them sat on a north Korean tank during a war when Americans were fighting for the south. I agree with you. She deserves it immensely. I'm a huge fan, but if I mentioned her to my uncle who was a Marine during the Vietnam War, it would not be nice.
@@allendever949 Understandable. Besides the Vietnam veterans don’t normally show up to the Kennedy center honors anyway. It’s about celebrating art not politics.
I am SO sad this show is going to be done! It’s probably going to make me cry when I watch the last episode. But smart shows make an exit while they’re still on top - and this Grace and Frankie was never declining, so they’re brilliant! Thanks for all the laughs! I look forward to the next adventure. I hope Lily, Jane, Martin, and Sam work together again - the on screen chemistry is just comedic gold! It would be interesting to see them all together with roles in a dramatic movie.
These women are so important, more impactful than a lot of do nothing members of Congress. Thank you thank you thank you. Lily Tomlin's performance in "And the Band Played On" is incredible. And Jane Fonda, and her willingness to be real is a hero for the ages.
An activist for the Aids crisis in that movie - loved that. Many of us don't think about that crisis any more and that movie tells a story we all need to know - very sharable in DVD format.
Grace and Frankie will always have a place in my heart, the moments of joy I got from this show are uncountable. I'm more like a Grace but I definitely want to have Frankie traits in my personality too.
I watched Grace and Frankie in the Pandamic husband was deployed the longest deployment ever. I am in a different country with the kiddo no friends. This Show gave me so much laughter in this awful time.
I am putting the bubbly on ice for tomorrow night! Cannot wait to binge on these last episodes! Until I saw her in G & F, I never knew what a comedic talent Jane was. Just love them both! And the work ethic at their age is just amazing!!!
Love this show and all of the characters so much!! Tearing up thinking that this is the end!! It has brought me so much joy!!! Wishing all of you the best!♥️
Too bad the series has ended. I think it was a huge mistake on Netflix to cancel the show. But I'm glad the show got a proper ending. I haven't watched season 7 yet.
Love the show. I recommended it to my college aged daughter who is enjoying the show as well. You really address the issues for aging women beautifully. Thank you,
the BEST BEST BEST BEST show ever, seriously. I have watched Grace and Frankie over 10 times and it never gets boring. I binged the final season yesterday and just started from season one AGAIN. It's almost embarrassing to say how often i have watched it, but it makes me laugh so much (and cry) even though i know what they are going to say. Isnt that crazy?! I never felt like that about any other show. Grace and Brianna my all time favourites and of course Frankie!!
I'm seventy one this year and while I've always liked both of these very talented women and their work....Grace & Frankie has elevated them and their talents to new heights in my view!! I have a whole new level of respect for them both.
Love Jane and Lily and will truly miss "Grace and Frankie". Two great talents that have great chemistry together - a delight to watch. This show is a breath of fresh air amidst so much junk now on the networks.
Nothing is more beautiful in life when we learn about ourselves and appreciate all the bad and good. Life is a study good and bad! and learn to correct ourselves from mistake. No one always did right, we are human being have feel and angers, but if we accept mistakes and able to change that is beautiful. And i believe you both much be always did good things! so beautiful to listen to you both, beautiful feeling. Appreciate and thank so much for the climate change program that you involved with. Iconic legends is all I can think and even those words aren't enough so grateful to be able to say I remember watching their films as a kid and really throughout my life they've always made me laugh and are just such strong inspirational women 💚
I actually got to see Lily live in I believe it was Looking for Intelligent Life in the Universe. I also used to listen to an album of hers and memorized every word. Lud and Marie were my favorite! "Please stop talking about that cake!" That and how everything is made out of plastic. My two favorites are, " A man walks up to two woman sitting together in a bar and says 'what are you doing here all alone?'" and something to the effect of " I bought a waste paper basket, they put it in a bag, I brought it home and put the bag in the waste paper basket." These things come to mind very often and make laugh. Bless both of these women for being in our lives. I live in Vienna and Jane was just here for the Opera Ball I wish I could have seen her.
They may disagree on some topics, but both are deeply committed to building healthy communities. Dolly has been committed for decades to eradicate illiteracy in Appalachia and recently funded research that developed covid vaccines. They have never been the type that say that they are already rich so they don't have to care for anybody else
I absolutely love this show. I have watched every episode that was on. I hated to see it end. Why not continue? I don’t understand why you can’t you keep going on.
Did anyone else get the sense that Lily and Jane were not on the same set as Dolly when they filmed? I don't knot what it is, but I had the same feeling watching Dolly's lady Christmas movie. It was filmed in a way that made it look like she was filmed separately.
The dolly parton Scenes are funny Beacuse I think they are in different studio and make it like a drew Barrymore interview green box . So funny because Jane look very up I think they saw each other with tv and Lilly look very down. But come on she can’t go to Nashville to Hollywood. But good .
On one hand I'm extra excited because they mentioned Dolly (who they've been trying to get for literal years) is involved this season. On the other hand, that's a HUGE detail to let slip and I'd have loved the surprise and it feels kind of wrecked. Weird they'd let out that detail.
@@shamanbeartwo3819 Holy Dooley. I'm used to watching the Graham Norton show where people talk to each other. Very disconcerting watching Jane Fonda having to shout through an interview.
Grace and frankie definitely lifted my spirits and gave me hope! These two, have inspired me so much, to see a queer icon and a lifelong activist icon, and to see such hilarity, nuance and tenderness about being human has been just great.

Did you follow Jane to Hanoi where she betrayed our servicemen and her country? She's a self involved scumbag traitor and always will be.
Such a great show-Grace and Frankie! They are both hilarious and have such great chemistry.Wonderful actresses. Can't wait for Dolly!
Will definitely be watching, Dolly is a national treasure. ♥️
