CINDY BEEDIE PLACE

Cindy Beedie Place will offer women and children leaving violence access to 56 long-term, affordable homes and 37 new child care spaces.
The project is a partnership between the Province, through BC Housing, philanthropist Cindy Beedie, the YWCA Metro Vancouver and the City of Burnaby.
Through the Building BC: Women’s Transition Housing Fund, the Province is working in partnership with multiple organizations to build and operate 3,000 new transition housing, second-stage housing, and long-term affordable housing spaces for women and children.
Located at 4803 Canada Way, the four-storey building will include 41 two-bedroom and 15 three-bedroom homes and an attached childcare facility that will help mothers in need change the trajectory of their lives by empowering them with affordable housing.
