This is crazy because I’ve been watching you guys since I was 12. Now I’m 23 years old and going through the hardest time of my life. I really needed this. Thankyou.
I believe this is one of the greatest shows you guys have ever made. If this was a show on TV you guys deserve an Oscar. The reality and honesty you guys share was just overwhelming. Best show ever!!!!!!!
As an “oldie” I hope young men watch this episode. Such truth to the various experiences and comments from the gang. It’s always refreshing to see episodes like this on JKN because of everyone’s honesty and respect for one another’s opinions ( through kidding around) Unfortunately my group of buddies are incapable to have a honest conversation about themselves-too “programed” to display a certain phony facade.
Call them out.. they might get mad or try to say something bad about you at first but in the end theyll either expose themselves as a shit friend or push a mental breakthrough that will both strengthen a friendship or themselves as a person.. nobody likes a fuckin know it all or an im better than you person., both those attitudes are only destructive to either others or themselves.. think about it.. and if you lose a friend from doing so your better off bro… just means more time to do you..
Started watching you guys when I was around 15 yrs. old. Now 26 turning 27 this month. You guys are my role models and each and every one of you made a huge impact in life in terms of dancing, work/business and in life. Thank you for existing. I do hope next year I can do great things and have a stress free lifestyle
i been following jk since 2009 im about to go to rehab for 3 mths and i’ve watched every single video…i needed this for my new journey thank you guys for sharing and helping me see things in a diff perspective
Totally agree with Joe. I'm a designer, I live in the Philippines not a lot of good opportunities for artists here. I dropped out of college because I wasn't getting what I wanted to get out of it, went to youtube, learned graphic design, found an international employer that pays well, now from doubting if I can even live off of something I love doing to basically doing better than most of my family members while not being miserable at my job. But yeah it's now coming to the point where I feel like I'm getting kinda burned out and I'm lucky enough to do well in my career that I can start pursuing other aspects of my craft while not worrying if I'm gonna be able to eat tomorrow. It's all about proving to yourself that what you want you can get if you really want it despite social pressures, despite being looked down upon as the Asian that didn't graduate, despite being in a field that no one understands or isn't prestigious as a doctor or lawyer or any of the stereotypical status symbol professions that Asian parents would like you to have, despite being in a country that doesn't really have opportunities.
I am so grateful I have been listening to jknews for more than a decade. Vicariously living through the cast and listening to their opinions and advice like a lil sibling, has made me pushed myself to grow and take risks in life to strive to be the best version of me. Love yall
Jason cheny should be a regular. He's hilarious. I'd like to see some episodes with him and David So in together. This was also really useful for where I'm at in life currently.
I've listened to Gary V., and all those other motivational speakers, but honestly guys, this one hit me the most. This episode might have been the one that will get me out of this "retirement phase" that I'm in. Thanks.
People handle stress differently but Joe's take is a great one. His family members ask if he is ok because they see he is under stress sometimes. But when he is under stress, its because he is on a mission. He has a drive and motivation to make it work. As opposed to not having any stress because you aren't moving with a purpose encountering problems along that motivated path in life. "Yes, im stressed a bit, but im moving with a purpose. I have a goal. Just dealing with a speed bump. Thank you for asking". Great take. We are all playing the game of life folks!!👍 STAY POSITIVE!!! CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS POSITIVE!! (by definition)Lol
This episode hits hard. It made me remember my journey and what I've been through , it was tough but it made me to who i am now much stronger and wiser. I'm just catching up with all the episodes this one really hits. Thank you guys
7:50 You don't have to stay happy - Remembering why you're doing the work will inspire you to continue, especially once you have confidence in yourself to achieve.
this video found me at an insane time. i started my youtube channel a month ago after losing my job, ngl im struggling a lot (youtube wise and financially) but i will let time do it's thing. thank you for reminding me that.
Opportunities is disguised as failure and sometimes you can give up on something and pick it up again life will take you places and life will give you experience even if it's on what you love to do that's my way of seeing things is that no matter how much you fail opportunities will show itself whenever you think is the right time
17:38 after not wanting to listen to Nick ramble on more, Anthony looks down at his fanny pack and remembers why he doesn't really respect Muffin Ears.
Quit projecting your feelings onto others. Nick was explaining things from his perspective in answer to the topic under discussion; not rambling. And Anthony was listening and reflecting on his own thoughts on what his answer to the question would be. He does respect Nick and vice versa.
As a person who loved JKN. The rotation of the constant new hosts is a problem. Your viewership will go down because it's not consistent. Joe Jitsukawa is the only thing original. This rotation isn't working. Get people dedicated to this being forever. Then you'll get consistency
There is nothing wrong with the rotation of hosts because each person brings a new perspective in the topics they bring forth to discuss. And having rotational hosts between Anthony, Ryan and Steve gives each one the time off required to work on other things in their lives and still continue bringing JK news to the viewers. Even Joe and Bart have other pursuits and things they want/need to do in their lives now that they are all getting older and being adults.
Bro this whole video is about growth and change. This is the growth and change. I stopped watching their videos for about a year but I literally came back because of this new group.
Get tf outta here they’re golden rn, it’s suppose to be a chill vibe thats what they’re aiming for and what most people want just look at your comment…. No likes

Same it’s actually crazy that it couldn’t have came at a better time in life they make all these videos reflecting on there lives
Sameeee, started at 12 and now 23!! Life is hard I agree
Yo same here man. Life's been really rough but the JK Fam has really helped me go through all the downs and ups of life up until now.
same, hope y’all are doing better than I am
Same here. 24 and I feel like everything’s crashing down.

Yeah, it's hard to find real people.
A brother is born from adversity. Sharing the same experience can really strengthen friendship bonds like no other.
