I agree Danny, Saturday morning is an escape from the crazy world. I always find someone to chat to and touring gives me such a buzz, a different course, always wonderful volunteers and time doesn't really matter, just enjoy the time spent with friendly people.
Wonderful parkrun. I prefer running in miles. Three of something feels less than five something, for me. I tend to forget about the 0.1 of a mile until the end of the run, hahaha Albert Blobster's wooooohooooooo is brilliant. Love it! It's all about seeing different environments and different people. I love parkrun!! That tree was awesome!! What a fabulous vlog! Thank you Danny!
Great vlog Danny! "Miles" every time for me! And I'm pretty certain that if the Queen had a Garmin, she would select Imperial units too 👑 #teamcooldown
Went to this Parkrun for 1st parkrun in 6 years on a sunny Saturday 14 May after being inspired by your video! 30th of the event, 172 runners. 2 loops of a flat forest trail circle although sadly not running down the Vista. Ground a bit uneven near the finish so harder to sprint finish! Mostly shaded too so good in the sun and good surface although it is earth not formal paths for a fair bit. Beware if you want to go to the more formal gardens area and house then book in advance as I think it was too busy for people to get tickets on the day. There's however nice walks outside. Also a children's playground and good quality toilets (they don't smell despite being public!).
Wow! Another superb vlog Danny. Fantastic location and somewhat different to the 'average' (if that exists) parkrun. Agree with your sentiments about life's experiences. Lovely gift for you from SJP and RC. Thank you.
Looks a very nice one! Even though I did a video of fastest/slowest parkruns which your videos were very helpful for, do like to try different ones albeit not to your level. Been to Hunstanton. Good for post parkrun coffee staring out to sea. Holkham is another one around here I really enjoyed too.
I certainly have more Norfolk ones on the list. Yeah, fastest/slowest is good for PB chasing or novelty value but I just love the variety of all the things. A sum of many parts is a parkrun.
Another great vlog, and another event for my list 🙂 ... and , it's miles for me; might try km sometime as it does make more sense for parkruns, but guess miles just mean more to me!
Beautiful vlog, Danny. The music compliments the stunning scenery perfectly. When Her Maj does Xmas at Sandringham she leaves the tree & decs up until 6th Feb (the anniversary of her fathers death)
I *loved* this, Danny. I grew up in King's Lynn and we used to picnic in Sandringham every summer. So the vlog brought a real lump to my throat. Hoping to run there in May as the rhododendron bushes will be stunning then. Thanks for bringing back some really happy memories!
Another fantastic video. I've just watched this after coming back from my home parkrun (Itchy Valley) and it's true what you say... It lifts your spirits. Keep doing what you're doing Danny. I prefer miles by the way!
Miles on my Garmin.KM on Strava.. the reason - most of the races I used to enter were measured in miles ( I hardly ever did a 10K.). Once it gets on Strava then laps has the splits for miles.
Km, came from swimming/cycling. Also maths is easier. 20min is 4min pace. Add or take 12 seconds for a minute each way. Keep your head up, and enjoy the peace of the pre/post parkrun.
The lampost at the start made it seem like you were in Narnia. In fact, Sandringham contains Narnia. Hmmm... didn't go through a wardrobe to get there did you?

Amen
Great video, yet to attend the Sandringham Park Run… John Crowley #Legend 🏃♂️
Well worth a visit!
“They call Norfolk the Rump of Britain”, Alan Partridge, 2006. Great vlog, would love to visit one day.
Great Alan and his greatness

Another lovely video - very tempted to get to this one for the Queen’s Jubilee weekend! Living the dream 😊💛
The Queen may even be there! 💛
Great video of our wonderful parkrun, we look forward to seeing visitors in coming weeks. Oh yeh, Sandringham pronounced as in ‘sand’ 🤣
Thank you for watching!

Aww, that’s lovely Kathryn! Thank you!
We've stayed in the campsites twice... and never done the parkrun! We'll have to fix that!
Thanks Danny - another great video.
Thanks Tony and yes you must!

Great video and kilometres rock
Thanks Chris!
Another brilliant video Danny 🙌
Ty Lil!
Great video. As for the miles/km thing, there's only one option if you live in Poland :)
I’m guessing km!
Looks like a lovely course, hope to get up there soon! Either miles or kilometres is fine :)
Defo worth a visit!
9:47 Good shot!
Impressive wasn't it!
Kilometers all the way
Miles on my Garmin.KM on Strava.. the reason - most of the races I used to enter were measured in miles ( I hardly ever did a 10K.). Once it gets on Strava then laps has the splits for miles.
And if it's not on Strava it didn't happen! :)

Kilometres ftw!
Correct!

Just by car 😂
Has to be kilometers... surely ?
I agree! But don’t call me Shirley. 😂 ✈️

Oh yes, and "arbitrary" 😂
Very much so!
