Love it! I have a different way that I do a faux hawk, and I like that this way is actually a bit more tame since you've used only bobby pins (I have multiple ponytails running down the middle and pin the teased pieces.) :)

After doing the mohawk part, I twisted pieces of the sides of my hair towards the back of my head. It made the back part of the mohawk look really cool

Whenever I try to recreate your looks my hairs doesn't cooperate with me. Could it be because my hair is extremely thick and straight? Because it seems to slip out of braids unless I use some type of gelish product. I just need some advise!!!! Because I love the short hairstyles you do!
I have really fine hair and it's silky. So what helps me to keep my braids in or any other hairstyle, I make sure to apply dry texturizing spray. Try texturing spray. Let me know if that helps.
