But we do get snow further north on our ski hills, Whistler, but not in Vancouver. There’s been many years that we don’t get any, or any significant snow at all. We’re right on the coast and the warm Japanese current keeps us quite temperate. People golf here in the winter, and no, we don’t have dogsleds! 😂

There is a local senior center thrift store in my town. I have never seen teens or even kids in there. However, I bought 5 games one day...looked in the 1st box and then realized when I got home that that was the only 1 with a disc. Now I always check and 9 out of 10 times the disc is missing. Sadly, it is grown adults that are taking them. 😢.
They're empty because most people put the discs in a binder and when they donate stuff the stores don't check the cases. It happens ALL the time around where I live.
@ginahohensee4522 and those are the same greedy resellers that will also steal the grails from your cart , next time you find something great cover it with a blanket or shirt to avoid them peoples 🤨😅

I go to my local one at least 3 times a week and there's always, at any given time, at least 50 - 60 customers in there. And the town I live in only has about 100K inhabitants. Kinda makes it hard to find those good deals. 🙂

I think Reseller's Rejects is an appropriate name for GW. It was once a place where poor people could get things they can't afford to buy from the store at a low price. Now it's a warehouse for pickers.

I have tried selling things people don't want to buy and it is a much more difficult way to make money, for sure.
lol I’ve also found 0% sell through are hard to sell, unless it’s just a rare find, but the common 0% sell through items, definitely a hard sell!!!
Our thrifts are pricey especially savers and Goodwill. I have switched to sourcing at auctions and Bin stores.
