Yea I read all of the pop-up Ploy Cards, your editing time is not wasted on me
Two points:
1. Mountainside Tabletop is a lot of people's entry into the game! Keeping the cards intact is important to on-ramping new players, I think.
2. The extra effort you put into the patreon readout was appreciated.
It is insane how much better this channel is than every other battle report channel. KEEP THE CARDS!

The cards are so useful to me as a new player seeing how everything fits together, plus they arent intrusive and block a portion of the screen the viewers need, incredible editing all around
I read them and pause if it’s a wordy one I’ve not read before. It might be neat to colour code the target reveals and tac ops so it’s visually clear who did what.
My grandpa's battle report HAS no worthless cards, Kaiba, but it does have... the unstoppable comment section!

We read the cards. MST is the BEST Kill Team content on the web, and the editing is absolutely part of why. :)

GFN gaming?
Guys here are adorable, but their gameplay is too twitchy, based on wild gambles, which makes these games feel more random than they need to be. Of course sometimes these gambles pay off, as is in their random nature, but I'd rather see more good moves and careful, deliberate gameplay than KT roulette.
For example they often say how an initiative roll decided their games, but that's because they set it up to be.
That's also why a lot of these games end early I think - they go in big, win or lose. At least that saves them editing time ;) I wonder if it is on purpose ;)

@@robertchmielecki2580 yeah but it adds into the fun of watching the battlereports. GFN gaming, correctly if I'm wrong, are much much slower and it is not as readable as Mountainside Tabletop. Also it is about fun and seeing only competetive KT or the others being just unwatchable makes this channels truly shine.
Oh, absolutely! The amount of channels with nauseating, shaky camera, badly improvised commentary and terrible understanding of how the game works is pretty shocking. MTT are indeed top ones, and almost always fun to watch. If only there was a bit more reserve and contingencies in their moves :)

I consider myself as still learning the game, so reading the cards really helps me! Hope you guys keep it up even tho it takes some effort, it is a good thing for newbies and shows care!
I play quite a few game systems so the pop-up cards are not a gimmick for me - really useful reminders. This channel is in my top two of all the stuff hobby related I reach into. “Keep pushing and moving!”

I always read the cards Vic. You guys and how well you present these Battle Reports are how I learn to play Kill team.

I love the cards! They are incredibly helpful to me, as I don't play Kill Team that regularly, so please keep them.
Also, I totally read the cards, often pause the video if a Tac Op or Strat I'm unfamiliar with comes up. It's a nice touch.

I do read the cards, but if it’s a lot of extra work that stresses you out, I’d prefer for you guys to be able to relax and have fun. Your style and videos are still the best

I read them when I don’t already know what they say. They are really handy for folks starting out (like I was last winter) or if you’re learning about a new team. The first thing I did when considering Phobos was go back through the Mountainside Archives and reference the abilities ;-)
