We did all the school parties. Olu maintain was from Ogunmuyiwa guy area in itire or something like that, Bubble King was our bros: I grew up in Ijesha on the other end was iporin. Some other guys where games changers they took the music game to a whole different level in Atlanta. Big thanks to Likes of “Obodo number 11 the real (“OBO”) who pushed the Afro music heavily in Atlanta Agba Baller. It’s good to give people their roses and respect. Maximum respect Bros Eddy.
Eddy , Edris & Tony are all gifted musicians. You guys shouldn't put money or profits in the journey of labour but 1st involved trust & loyalty then profit will come and success. You guys can still bounce back and make alot of international tours , advertising, recordings that will put your work globally. Understanding its all that matters..... Eddy i recall when your voice usually wake me up in the morning as early as 4 am .... 😊
Daddy Freeze, can we do a go fund me for Eddy? It is quite sad to watch this interview. This was a man who really put the Nigerian music scene on the map, great voice and all. I really think there would be something we can do to help him and i think its cash money. What say you boss.
I think Idris, Tony and Eddie should all be on the same stage for an interview rather than separate stories. A lot of us know what happened that time but they have the full story and among them, there is also a clearer story. These are good men that are legends. Daddy freeze make it happen.
Idris said "we got greedy" and he stated that he reneged on his agreement with Eddie when they met with Kennis to end the contract. Neither Tony nor Eddie stated that they did any wrong ooooo
He still looks good for 56. These guys did so much for the industry. They changed the game and introduced modern Afrobeats which the current guys got inspiration from. It’s not too late to get back into singing and retire in a good and fulfilled way.
You know it is serious when real men show emotions, especially on camera. I felt his pain. Stay strong, Eddy! He may have just opened a can of worms in the rotten Naija music industry
Eddy is the most sincere of them all. I saw Eddy on a bike at Ogba around 2008 or so. I so much admired him. Idris truly is asking for too much always claiming he fought for the industry & he should calm down. I feel your pain Eddy, God has got you and your real fans love you.
When you see grown men cry like this when telling their truth is so painful. These guys made my youth with those songs.... I believe everyone need to come out to tell their truth. Glad plantashun boiz did theirs and moved on. Sad they didn't make as much money they should have.

Remain blessed and couragious Eddy Montana. You and the Remedies were the reason i chose to venture into Afrobeat. Please, forgive one another and genuinely reconcile. I believe there are still so much you can offer the world,TOGETHER.
I know who's saying the truth when i watch him speak. Bless you bro. Ur ❤ed
Anyone who's mature enough and wants to be truthful knows this guy is saying the truth.
Sure ...
There is a reason why this guy was called Eddy Remedies and Eedris wasn't known by that name! May God help them to reconcile!
His version of what happened adds up, I couldn’t hold back laughter when he said “you don read am? uneducated fool” DF tear laugh too. I hope they all have a conversation soon for a possible reconciliation ✌️✌️
Me too 😂
Why does it feel like that Daddy Freeze has a personal vendetta for Idris
Na eddy remedies na im be the man gongon. Arrival of eddy Montana na my jam dat year
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST OF DF... IF DF CHAMPIONS THIS COME BACK IS GOING TO BE THE GREATEST HIT OF ALL TIMES...THANKS DF
Eddy, if you read this, I was fortunate to be at Yabatech that night... A young boy called Spider (now in his 40s) did a rap song in between that Sakomo song that you sang, u loved it and said you would get in touch with him... We were shocked to see you on TV a couple of weeks after singing Sakomo with Tony and Edris. Spider never recovered cos that was his dream.
What do you mean by he has never recovered from it? That’s Eddy’s song. He can choose whoever he wants on the song. Y’all should stop being feeling entitled
Right? Thank you for the sound feedback. Nigerians and overentitlement.
Wow
How did he never recover? Did he know Eddy before that night? Did they sign a contract? Eddy just complimented him to make him feel good, he didn't owe him anything
😂😂😂😂😂
How lie tey dey smooth with confidence for liar mouth.I just feel Eedris is the black sheep of the group.Remedies sound like a honest man.I feel his pain at a point I almost wanna cry.Baba it well with you.
Eddy Remedy: "........I've never met Tony in my life. I just say a guy limping behind him (Eedris)" - 5:23. What a very bay way of describing a friend you knew had poliomyelitis as a kid. You can imagine what he says behind his back or off camera.
You have a good heart!
He was limping naa.. hmmn world people Una don start
Yeah, that part was not cool at all. I now understand that he never wanted Tony to be part of them
@@kayodeodusanya5751 Do you know Folake , Laitan and Gbenga Odusanya?
@@yonusoeda3658 Nope
Eddie, i grew up listening to you sir. Indeed you started it. you are dropping gems in this interview.
Different stories. At this point, you all can move on
Ah see my eddy crying, even him wife betray am. God raise you up eddy. Thank you Daddy Freeze for interviewing him.
And he was beating the wife steady, so she should stay with him?
He made a mistake marrying that lady. The lady used him to grow her popularity. She dumped him when she knew he was no longer popular.
@@professor5281this your claim of using Eddy to shine does not sound true she already was basking in the euphoria of being Kenny ogungbe's sister(Sister to the owner of Africa's biggest record label at that time)
Freeze you are picking side u hate EEDRIS .
Don't be an ignorant fool. If you are saying he is taking sides, you nko? Did eedris form the group?, no be join him join? This is why it's good to document shit on video most times.
How did he take side against Eedris?
i feel your pains brother
, i see you speaking the truth.
Eedris knew how to play the game more than either of you. He took the shine outta you all
May your friends take your shine out of you
Still doesn't make it right
Eedris already knew how to trend before the rise of internet
May you face thesame
How you don't know Eddy, small boy, go ask your uncle's Dem go tell you
Big up, egbon Eddy. You are a great guy. God will visit you very soon.
The lesson here is: Business is business (no padi padi abegi) and don't be afraid to walk alone. Anybody fit mess up anytime.
What happened after shakomo? You were not able to produced any songs again.
This is Dwayne B… a big shout to the man that shapers my music. The legendary Eddy Remedies
Bros Eddy was the sexy guy among them all, ladies man, he use to my come to street to look for Paul Play in Oladimeji in Aguda Surulere with DJ Jams, Mr T, I’m a proud member of the interact-rotary club.
Daddy freeze, plz sir kindly interview asados too
Good to hear from Eddie Montana my favorite remedy ❤️💯🙏
Good seeing Eddy again. Damn, Life sha!!!
You Dey find boxing bout? Anyway sha na Eddie go win😅

Trying to recall "Which one you dey" by "Emphasis" @ 16:30-16:44
Eddy u are the real guy in the group,u sing well.and u are the lead singer.i respected u eddy.u are the best.u and tetula.
I listened to Idris Interview. He never ran down Eddy .He never ran down Tony tetuila.Daddy freeze pls I respect you.
He actually did. He made Eddy remedy seem like the villian for Tony Tetuila leaving.
@@preyeyinkore7238don’t mind them, anybody that listens to understand will know that Eedris insinuated that Eddy is greedy.
Idris said "we got greedy" and he stated that he reneged on his agreement with Eddie when they met with Kennis to end the contract. Neither Tony nor Eddie stated that they did any wrong ooooo
Because he is a betrayal and he knew what he did.
Thank you for this Daddy freeze 😢
He spoke d undiluted facts with receipts to buttress his aboriginal points . Oghene bless our Eddy for us .
Daddy freeze for this interview just pure of haters abeg una be fool Eedri still be legend 4eve❤
Shut up and rest
Na u give am legend, how him be legend, guy rethink
Eddy Remedy. Age don come oooo.
Much ❤
Welldone baba Eddy & freeze for this interview..🙏🏼
Eddy is the most sincere of them all. I saw Eddy on a bike at Ogba around 2008 or so. I so much admired him. Idris truly is asking for too much always claiming he fought for the industry & he should calm down. I feel your pain Eddy, God has got you and your real fans love you.
When you see grown men cry like this when telling their truth is so painful. These guys made my youth with those songs.... I believe everyone need to come out to tell their truth. Glad plantashun boiz did theirs and moved on. Sad they didn't make as much money they should have.
Eddy is right. I was there at the Miss Yabatech when Eddy performed " Shakomo" We were together in Yabatech then. Eddy the "Music Kid" in Yabatech. Mr. Fashion Eddy Montana
Eddy Montana aka Eddy Remedy. The man with wonderful smiles.
There are element of facts spoken from Eddy....I could remember one of their group music show they did at OGTV ground Abeokuta over two decades ago.
I respect you sir for introducing Afropop to African.
Please where is Wale Thompson, i really love that is one hit
It is good you asked this question coz I love lala Friday (awade) all the broadcasters are not asking the remedies members questions about their feature with wale Thompson on lalale Friday
Awade (lalal Friday)🥰🥰🥰🥰 everyone loved it then 💋
