Hello Layla, I'm new to your channel, but I've watched at least a third of your content, and I have subscribed to Style Digest. I appreciate your technique of describing scents. You're so generous with your time and knowledge. I would love it for you if you were able to develop your own fragrance. 🙂 My partner and I are new to this area of interest. We've been nosing delivered fragrance samples together as a hobby for about two months. It's been fun and bonding. (He is a single malt whisky expert. He has a good nose... better than mine!) Regarding luxury perfumes, the samples seem harder to have delivered than the niche sets we've bought as learning exercises. Until I have a better idea of my preferences, I'm concerned I'll waste money on blind purchases. But today I received the affordable Blumarine Bellissima Parfum Intense, and I'm already understanding how unique and lovely it is. All of this is to say, thank you. Your work on UA-cam made a difference for me. I will likely try more perfume based on your suggestions to bring more joy into our lives. 🦋🧡🦋

I used to love all the spicy vanilla scents, but since going through menopause, I can't do those anymore, they are awful on me. My body chemistry is so crazy. I wanted to love the Cartier Carat but something in it has a funky smell to me…idk I’m sticking with Basier Vole. I just got the Florabitanica and it is heavenly so perfect for spring…. I can’t find the Rosabotanica anywhere I regret not buying it years ago
I like Reminiscence Grimauve, but Dragee (white bottle) is my favorite. I have still to buy the Heliotrope. Grimauve means "marshmallow" in French - does smell marshmallowy.

@@olihaga9736 I remember mentioning that Happy Bigaradia smells very similar to Maison Lancome Oranges Bigarades. I have both of them and they really share similar notes and belong to the same fragrance profile.
I bought the perfume "Les notes gourmandes of Reminescense" because I saw this video and I am so disappointed with this perfume. To me it is nothing like it is described, I love to watch this channel and I like her descriptions of perfumes, but on this perfume I feel that smell so bad, smell like anise and Peptobismol.
Oh, I'm sorry you didn't like it😔 Just give it some time maybe it will grow in you. Fragrances are so subjective anyway and blind buy is always a risk...
