Palm Springs is such a vapid place as evidenced by the residents and city attacking stalled projects during a pandemic because they are "eye sores". How convenient for all of you to ignore that the world is just starting to come off pandemic lock down. A lock down that has killed, injured and displaced the very workers needed to finish these projects. There was already a shortage of needed builders BEFORE the pandemic. I'm guessing this is more about extorting money from developers than it it about delayed construction projects. I'd give Palm Springs credit for only fleecing those with deep pockets, but that would ignore yesterday's report about the overreach of a $1000 fine for a restaurant employee eating at work.
The city needs to do something about the homeless issue if they are concerned about tourism. It seems to be getting worse as time goes by.
