My parents have done a really good job at making the holidays "normal" whatever that means. I've always stayed with my mom on Christmas Eve to wake up at her house Christmas morning. My dad still to this day, 10 years into a divorce, comes over to my moms and both parents get to watch us open presents. I don't know anyone who does it like us, and I am so lucky that my parents get along as well as they do. We've never had legal custody arrangements, and I have never experienced divorce court like so many kids do.
omg i relate to the divorced parents EXACTLY (except the 10 siblings thing ahah) but also yes worse worst thing is living out of a bag....even if i keep my stuff half and half there's always stuff i want/need to carry
I am currently in physical therapy school and I took the GRE last year! It is definitely a hard test, harder than the ACT and SAT. If you take it early it will be better and definitely study as much as you can for it. I used the Kaplan GRE book which was somewhat helpful for me but I know a lot of people used Magoosh or even took courses about the GRE. Hopefully this helps and good luck!
Im also a fraternal twin in college (brother has the same major), with parents that got divorced when I was very young. I literally relate so hard to your videos (when you said living out of a bag was the worst thing about divorced parents, I FELT that)
I have taken the GRE. I studied for around 6 months and took the exam. I did really well. I think overall around 2 months of dedicated studying for GRE should be enough to get a good score. Best of luck on your GREs ! I am sure both of you will do well :)
@megan and ciera, didn't you say your dad has German roots? that is probably why his family celebrates christmas on christmas eve :) I am from Austria (wich is south of germany) and we celebrate christmas eve too and I know for sure that Germans do that sooo :)
me 2 :) I am from Cincinnati, which is the most german city in america so, we celebrate with the whole dad's side of the family on Christmas eve, and a small celebration on Christmas day :)
I just took the GRE last week. It's not horrible mostly because it's on a computer so your hand doesn't get cramped and it seemed to go by fast. I finished it in 3 hours but I didn't take any breaks because I just wanted to get it done.
I can relate I only remember my parents being divorced. My dad's side is huge and had to rent out a hall on Thanksgiving for a gathering of 80. I have 20 cousins in my cousin set. I know the feeling of having to pack a bag every time to go to a parent's house each week. The brownies looked delicious. I hope you have a great week!
A lot of countries actually celebrate christmas on christmas eve. I'm from Germany and everyone does it that way here and I know a lot of other European countries do so too
The GRE is pretty simple. It’s honestly a lot like the SATs. In the case of the GRE, it is examining a deeper ability for critical thinking and analysis as well as your ability to explain that analysis in a well thought out and concise written response. I stressed over it so much before the actual test, but once I was actually taking it, I realized how straightforward and similar it was to college prep tests. Just remember to relax and provide evidence for any statement/argument you push in the test!
I’m currently a freshman in college and I totally understand the divorced parents over the holidays. I’ve also had that trippy Mandela effect about switching between parents over the holidays and everyone thought I was crazy for it
I’ve been watching all your vlogmas videos! You’re not the typical “relatable” girls and honestly that’s what I love about you, you’re just so real! And I also feel like we have similar personalities so I really like watching your videos!
Great video! Tip re: the GRE- the scores expire after five years (last I checked). If you choose to do a doctorate at any point in time (assuming after a Masters program, though some doctorates are direct entry/dual enroll with a Masters degree programs), you could find yourself retaking the exam because your scores expired from when you took them in preparation for a Masters program. Something to consider re: the timing of when you take the exam. Taking the exam closer to when you enroll in a Masters program extends the amount of time the scores are valid for should you choose to later apply to a doctoral program.
Ugh! I can relate to living out of a bag! I keep all my stuff at my moms, though I see my dad equally as much. I just can't split my clothes up becuase nothing is ever at the right house. It's easier to pack exactly what I need when I go to my dads.
I was so sad when you didn’t do vlogmas last year because the year before you did vlogmas and 12 days of gymnastics so I’m so happy you’re doing it this year!!!!
For me the hardest part of the GRE was the vocabulary words. I studied a lot of words, but I still felt like I was guessing on the exam. The math section was okay once I looked at practice problems, reviewed some of the formulas, and sharpened up my problem solving skills. I would highly recommend that you look at some of the strategies for the writing portion of the exam. You won't know what prompts/topics you will get, but once you know how to approach what the questions are asking it makes it a lot easier. I used KAPLAN to study, but I did pay for it. I definitely wouldn't want to take it twice since it is so expensive and time consuming. Good Luck!
I always come back to your vlogs because you guys are just so down to earth and entertaining 👏🏽 I’ve been watching TC2 since I was like 15 so it’s so cool growing up with you guys in a way 😊
I am 5'6 and have always been considered pretty average and definitely not short. Love the vlogs every day ❤️ I've been following your other channel for around six years and I love how much we get to learn about you all on this channel!
your dads christmas is exactly like my mom’s christmas including the school, gym and stage!! also totally relate to the living out of a bag and parents not really following the rules of who you’re supposed to go with on holidays, and middle brownies
I am a graduate student and recently took the GRE. I'd recommend studying for a couple of months to ensure you are ready by test day, especially since the exam is spendy. I studied over a summer and took it in August. I think of it as a higher level ACT exam. Nothing is particularly difficult, but you want to take it seriously in order to get a competitive score.
My parents are divorced too. For most of my childhood my sister and I have always woken up at my moms house, then gone to my dads and his parents and then went to celebrate with family at my nana's (so my moms mom). But for the last few years i've just been celebratig with my dad and his family on Christmas Eve. And staying with my mom and her family on Christmas Day.
I haven’t taken the GRE but I did take the GMAT. I spent a summer working full time and studying and took it at the end of the summer and did well. Unless you have to take it now, I would recommend studying during summer to give yourselves more time and not feel as much pressure. Maybe start studying now if you want to and play to take the test in July. Plus, when you schedule the test sometimes it can be hard to get a spot at the testing center depending on where you’re taking it.
Okay when you were talking about all your clothes being at your mum's I was like OMG thank you because my friends think it's weird I don't have clothes at both mum's and dad's house so thanks for being related haha 😂😜
omg it’s the same way with the prehistoric clothes @ my dads house though!!been tuning into y’all vlogmas since day 1 2015 so y’all must be doing something right!!! thank y’all!!😸🧡
i love watching your vlogs bc they’re actually so relatable lol & we’re studying the same thing! good luck on finals next week 📚🤓 i’ve taken the GRE once and did pretty well and studied pretty sporadically for around 1 month
I took the GRE back in October after studying for about 3 months. In terms of content it wasn't terrible it was just incredibly long. I recommend studying for it when you're not in school because it's like taking a class on its own.
I took the GRE and honestly it was a piece of cake. I didn't study AT ALL and I did really well. If you did high school math and can read, you will be totally fine!
I took the GRE last fall and it was pretty painless doing the online one! If you’re good with SAT-type vocabulary words the verbal section will be extremely easy but the quantitative definitely merits more studying.
I’m loving vlogmas! Next week is finals week for me too, I have 3 finals between Thursday and Friday (my other two classes had final papers) Good luck to you both next week!
Keep up the great vidz.. It may seem like boring vlogmas ones to u both, but, u never know who might watch it and mite make them smile when they need it. I come from a big sibling family from my momz side and am the eldest grandson of 56grandchildren. I totally agree with what u say about a big operation trying to organise Xmas gatherings etc... Lol.. Do u prefer that life of ur dads weird querks and ur mom is the normal one... Or just having a normal mom and dad?...
so sad you both are so young and mum and dad divorced but hey your both twins and I see were you both are coming from mine are the same love to both of you and hope you both have a great Christmas im jess from helland in cornwall in the uk and happy Christmas to Maggie as well!!!
I’m actually also a child of divorce parents! Haha there’s a lot in common there and I’m an identical twin! You guys are fun and very relatable! Haha man you guys never get a break! Hopefully you don’t get burnt out! Good luck!
I definitely like a center piece!! But I was wondering... Do you guys get each other christmas gifts each year or no?🎁 because I always have given my relatives gifts, but I was curious about you being twins! 💗💗
I highly recommend looking into Magoosh for GRE prep. It’s a website that does a review and it was amazing for me. I only had to take the GRE once (I also spent 2 months preparing for it though). Since you don’t need your scores for a couple of more years, I might recommend delaying taking the GRE until the summer and spend a month or so over the summer preparing for it while you have time off school since you want to only take it once. And remember that scores are only good for 5 years so don’t take it too early! Good luck!
When you guys come to Florida to cheer on the Hawkeyes can you come to Orlando and do a meet up or something similar? Nothing too big but I think it’d be so fun and I’d definitely go!!
So I never comment on UA-cam but as likely one of the only people watching who HAS taken the GRE I will share a few quick tips. 1. Online study sites can be very helpful. Kaplan and ETS (the service that actually writes/controls the test) are two great ones! 2. Take some time to understand how the test is set up/formatted and also how it is scored. It is nothing like the ACT/SAT. 3. If you know what grad schools you are applying to send them your scores at the same time you test. The program will give you this option before giving you your score at the end of the test. You can send to (I think) 4 schools for free, but if you wait until next fall (or whenever you apply) you have to pay extra to have your scores sent. Hope this was helpful! Good luck!
My parents got divorced when I was 5 and I SO relate to the living out of a bag feeling!! Y'all are so lucky to go through it all together:)
I love the edges of a brownie. Especially after it has cooled off. That crunchy part along the sides is just so good, and, well... chewy. 🤣
Yassss me tooo it's like the best part
@@stacyserwaa9341 I know, right..
Yesss that’s the best part

Rujuta Panvalkar Excuse my ignorance, I live in the UK and so have no idea about your college system, what is a GRE?
You guys are fun and relatable! You both are very chill and don’t feel the need to go out and party every night to be entertaining, which is awesome!
@megan and ciera, didn't you say your dad has German roots? that is probably why his family celebrates christmas on christmas eve :) I am from Austria (wich is south of germany) and we celebrate christmas eve too and I know for sure that Germans do that sooo :)
Yeah my whole family is Polish and we celebrate Christmas Eve also.
me 2 :) I am from Cincinnati, which is the most german city in america so, we celebrate with the whole dad's side of the family on Christmas eve, and a small celebration on Christmas day :)
You’re so down to earth and simply awesome! Very responsible and hard working! Happy Holidays and best of luck on finals 💕

My parents have been separated since I was 2 as well. But it didn’t go as smooth as you guys did. So stressful.
For me the hardest part of the GRE was the vocabulary words. I studied a lot of words, but I still felt like I was guessing on the exam. The math section was okay once I looked at practice problems, reviewed some of the formulas, and sharpened up my problem solving skills. The GRE is actually a lot like an SAT! There are a bunch of free practice tests online and when you register for it they give you some too!
I always come back to your vlogs because you guys are just so down to earth and entertaining 👏🏽 I’ve been watching TC2 since I was like 15 so it’s so cool growing up with you guys in a way 😊

I'm doing vlogmas just for fun because I love UA-cam, Christmas, and vlogging but I only get like 10 views haha. It's hard but it is fun.
your vlogmas is my favourite every year and I watch every video! thanks so much for working hard and giving us such great content :))))

i’ve officially watched every vlog on your channel! and good luck on your finals!
I took the GRE last fall and it was pretty painless doing the online one! If you’re good with SAT-type vocabulary words the verbal section will be extremely easy but the quantitative definitely merits more studying.
I like the corner pieces on brownies lol
corners all day! Love the crunchy texture! 😋😋
I love it that you post videos every day now!! Thanks for all your effort 🙌🏻😍💕
Brownie edges have added texture! Just microwave for a couple seconds and they turn soft again.
Where did u get the grey nike turtleneck I love it!!
What is the name of the lululemon jacket Megan is wearing?
Love the edge pieces! More crispy
I’m loving vlogmas! Next week is finals week for me too, I have 3 finals between Thursday and Friday (my other two classes had final papers) Good luck to you both next week!
Center brownies all the way. Same with pizza that is cut into squares. The center is just the best.

Incredibly interesting vlog! Thanks! 2Q: Did either parent remarry? If yes, what ages were you? 👍

Your Parents should be very proud of u 2 as you should be very proud of them. great vids thanks
Yall are so pretty
I love u guys, I started gymnastics just to be like u guys. I looooove your videos!
I’m a corner piece person all the way it’s amazing I love the crunch combined with the gooey ness

Also, I had been out of college for 6 years when I took the GRE, so I probably needed more refreshing on math concepts and rules than y’all will need!
Love love love your vlogmas this year
Ciera being sassy!!!
their eyes look so big everytime they wear spectacles😂😂 CUTEEEEE
You are so fun and relatable lol
I remember your 2016 vlogmas, i watched it!!
Do you alternate in editing the vlogmas vids each day? Enjoying the casual fun content from you two. ✌🏼
When you guys come to Florida to cheer on the Hawkeyes can you come to Orlando and do a meet up or something similar? Nothing too big but I think it’d be so fun and I’d definitely go!!
A tip, crack eggs on a flash surface!
Are you guys planning on graduating early like Hailey?
edge piece! I love the crunchy part!
i loveeeeee edge pieces!!!!!
CENTER! Me and my brothers always take a fork and make a circle in the middle and eat the circle!
My parents divorced when I was 2 and 1/2 so I relate to having 2 homes and not really remember them being together.
So I never comment on UA-cam but as likely one of the only people watching who HAS taken the GRE I will share a few quick tips.
1. Online study sites can be very helpful. Kaplan and ETS (the service that actually writes/controls the test) are two great ones!

5'6 is average I reckon, I am 5'1 and have been since I wad 12......didnt have a height growth spurt after that
I love the corners the BEST but I also like the crust of bread and the skin of the apple the best so I guess I’m weird
how many finals do you both have? i have 5 in total, but have finished 3 so far
5'6 is definitely not short!
definitely a center piece
