Hey Mark, hope you’re well. It’s a different experience, i think it probably depends on the kinda tones you’re going for. I like the Boss preamps & the cab sim is good/ok but I ended up putting Two Notes Cab M in as the cab & mics & loved the experience. The ToneX is a whole bother ballgame, really enjoying mine. Both Boss & Tonex are really dynamic. I hope to have an update to settings going up over the next few days so should hear more then.
@@markzaharov2345 my pleasure man! Will be doing a shootout for sure over the next couple of vids tonex vs GT stock & GT with Two Notes DynIR’s. I have one more vid to do on the ToneX before the shootout. Hope you’re well!
Hi!! Thanks for your help, hope you’re well. So are you saying that the mid Q & the frequency (in the deep settings) is interacting cut or boosted with the mid control (using the mid control knob for profile)?

@@planzed.2 the global eq is different. The low frequency when you choose 200hz for example is actually a 50-199hz LPF. then the Q bell angle, add/ boost or cut...paired with the (gain) Up until the next Eq band letsay 500hz. so you were controlling 200-499hz for bass.
Plenty of great tips mate. Much appreciated
My pleasure man, thanks for saying so 🙏. You’ve got this combo? ..if so how’re you getting on?

Hello. Does Boss sound significantly worse without tonex? I mean with Boss's native amp and cab sim? Thanks.

Eq is 0, if you take it up means a boost. Less than 0 is a cut.. based on what freq and the Q
