Nice one. The reason the sump cracks in the same place is because that’s where the machine holds the sump when it is formed by injected moulding. It created a weak spot where the plastic is thin. The sumps for years now are now held at the corner during manufacture where the plastic is thicker so no weak spot. You won’t get a cracked sump on a boiler made within probably at least the least 4 years. 👍👍
Well done Derek brilliant video . You didn’t break the record that’s assuming 10 min is the target to beat! But you did an amazing job ! I’d be lucky to do it in 30min! Anyway Bro , you’ve got the job start tomorrow 😂😂😂😂
Is it possible a video on how to run gas pipe under the floor, wooden floor, between joist for instance and if the pipe requires duct or ventilation between two ceilings, under thefloor??? I am confused???
Hi Derek, thanks for the helpful videos as always!. Just wondered if you could make a video about how to set up a boiler correctly in regards to the system it is supplying,ie the ideal pump speed and achieving correct delta T across boiler. I ask this because don't think iv seen any practical straightforward info on doing this. Thanks mate
@@tomkatgastraining you did great. I didn't realize you had such serious skills Tomkat. You're a machine. It would have taken me 10 minutes to drink a cup of tea, read the manual and take the case off. I would like to see how long it takes to put it back together. Maybe that's part 2.
Excellent timing on this - I’ve got one to strip down tomorrow and I’ve not done one before. Having seen this will make the job a bit quicker. Cheers.

Great stuff, keep um coming Derek.
What's happening bro. Long time no see.

So many different boilers to do this video but not a bad suggestion cheers
Thanks Derek great video 👍👍
took me more than 3 hours at training centre to do that!!!!!
Leave the burner on the heat exchanger ... it will come out as one unit and you'll be quicker
I wonder why it was dismantled. Maybe just for the fun of it. Anyways that was quick.
It’s just for fun and ideal said it can be done in less than 10 minutes so I had a go 👍🏻
